No, it doesn’t. But it does increase catch rate.

is the catch rate effected by the arkadions you currently have out or everyone in you party?
I think it’s just your highest level arkadion. If you have a lvl 99 it will still have the same catch rate even if you took it out of your party, but I’m not entirely sure. Sorry.
