Hello everyone, I’m still rather new to the forum and in trying to build a good pve team I was wondering if anyone had any input on weather to get “Aegis barrier” for Aegisdragon, or “link: double retribution” for Emeraldeus? I would appreciate anyone’s input!
As a newer player I’m guessing it is unlikely you can form a strong link earth team. You can’t use link double retribution unless you have 3+ earth monsters on the field at the time. Therefore, it might be best to wait before unlocking this secret skill.
Aegis barrier is a quick, powerful move but given Aegisdragon’s auto-protect plus passive that draws all attacks to it sometimes finding the right time to use the secret skill before Aegisdragon dies can be tricky. It’s a fine secret skill to have and probably the better choice of the two to get right now, but if you think you will be short on Ocarino’s then maybe save your Ocarino for your next legendary.

My aegis also already has auto-pro plus (APP?) so I have just been skipping until critical then desperate bite. Thank you for saving me from the “Link” SS, I do not have an earth lineup just one other earth type the mythic one that sacs the last in line to attack.

Magicarp hit em with a SPLASH ATTACK!.. I’m sorry uhh yeah I did Aegisdragon and am sort of regretting it. The only time I would need to use his SS is if I’m low on health and when that happens I just use desperate bite negating the need for a heal really. It’s kinda situational is what I’m saying, hey thank you for the advice I just wish I read it sooner.
