They’re experimenting with different time zones so they can figure out a way to stagger them for all players and it’s not just one time that everyone has to worry about
EDIT: mostly for those that would have to stay up ridiculously late/ get up early just to have a chance at it

If they’re experimenting with time zones then it would likely be countries in/around Asia that get them first as they’re way ahead time wise.
I wonder exactly how this affects the 10% or 1% pools though. Unless they’re separate then everyone else would be at a disadvantage for not having access to it at the same time, if they are separate then a lot more than 10% or 1% of people overall will get the prizes.
The pools system will still be the same. In the 1st post it doesn’t say the event is earlier this time. It says that it goes live for everyone at 10pm GMT. Which is the same time it’s always been.
Read a few posts up, people in Japan had the event start earlier in the day
Separate pools!! It definitely does not effect the mission rewards for the rest of the world. And yes we experimented with timezones on this, but it was too much manual work so we are unlikely to extend it to other countries. Likely going to put Japan back to start along with the rest of the world. We picked Japan only because we are based there and a good chunk of our users are from there.

I got a Hydra but it was level 1
Got it after 40 minutes and with the egg fever AND two times 1000gold, but missed any useful egg.
But i am fine with it, despite the fact that it means i probably will not win in this new season any other OM ark…
