This is best time and place to upload this, (not me btw)

Had fun with this one. Good job @Dev_VKC and the team that worked on this. ![]()
Good deal then, how I see it, and based on other people opinion, it’s all about read the history, and if I want a history I read a book, or use Netflix, I more here in this game looking for rewards ( very little on this event) and competitive online PvP, since this does not have nothing of the aforementioned things, I will like every other PvE, pass on this one…. Good look you guys having fun with this
Extra opinion: I think the Game need so many other important things to be implemented o fixed before an event like this one, but hey, the community have say this over and over and over and nothing happen, call me crazy but Neo Monster is going down the hill and without brakes
Maybe find another game with less story and more rewards and clicking, then. It’s a 10-year-old mobile game. Why does everyone want it to be like every other newly released waifu gacha?
Everyone wants it advancing in time and progressing because if you stay old, you stop being attractive, they stop playing and you disappear, in reality those of us who care about the game are actually the ones who ask for changes and improvements… I can’t go for another game if I leave who is going to punish you in the ranking then? No, I’d better stay ![]()

, it just different opinions that’s ok
After an entire afternoon of playing, I almost forgot how the story even began. I only vaguely remember that it opened with me taking a bath, and then a waifu suddenly barged in, followed by some very cliché soft fanservice…
The three waifus each had different reactions upon seeing the protagonist naked, which somewhat reflected their personalities.
Then I was asked to help with something.
I had to go find an old man with glasses, someone I had almost completely forgotten about, or maybe never cared about in the first place. He went on and on about things like singularities, timelines, layers of time… all sorts of terms that sounded impressive.
I wasn’t interested and didn’t remember much of what he said. The only thing I retained was that he wanted me to travel across different eras, use monsters from those eras, and fix broken history.
Then came the typical adventure setup. The protagonist goes on a journey and gradually builds ambiguous romantic tension with the initially unfamiliar waifus. Things like brief eye contact or dull, cliché jokes…
The only part that had any value was the introduction to the development history of Neo Monsters, which was somewhat interesting to read.
The developers also expressed their views on different eras. For example, Ayna was created because guardians were too dominant at the time. A few old but powerful monsters ruled the game for over twenty seasons. The peak of battles came after the shrine was introduced.
Alright, back to the adventure.
After going through journeys with the three waifus, the old man turned out to be greedy. Like players constantly begging for free gems, he shamelessly kept asking me to work for him.
Then I set off again with Ayna or Cindy, I honestly forgot which. When we reached our destination, we discovered a completely unknown era.
I had already forgotten what the mission was supposed to be. I only remember that this era had new battle music and backgrounds, which were actually quite good.
At the end, Cindy, who had been accompanying me, suddenly turned into Tenkugo.
She said she wanted to kill me. I don’t remember why, or maybe she never explained it at all. Then she forced me to fight using the four starting legendary monsters.
I lost. Then VKC suddenly appeared and said, “No, the champion is not alone!”
Then in a very grotesque and disturbing way, it tore open its head and sprayed waifus out of it…
I won’t go into too much detail after that. Basically, it was about returning to the original timeline. I couldn’t go back with Ayna. She reached out to grab me, but her arm was cut off by the closing gate…
Ayna returned to the original era and briefly explained the situation to the others. Then they began searching for a way to rescue me.
Meanwhile, what was our champion doing?
First, he picked up Ayna’s severed arm and felt guilty about her losing it, even though it wasn’t really his fault. They already knew what would happen if the gate closed, so why reach out? Why not just let her go back earlier and find a solution together?
Then he spent three months in that city, holding onto the arm as it grew cold, sinking into despair. During that time, the locals constantly mocked and looked down on him.
To justify this, the author created a setting where humans are of low status in that world. It’s a very dumb setting, so I won’t dwell on it.
Fine, I accepted it.
Let the champion stay depressed.
The author kept describing how cold the wind and people were. It was cliché, but it did create a bleak atmosphere.
So we were stuck.
How long would the champion, the greatest trainer of the original era, remain in despair?
And how would the “creative” author bring him back, make him face his mistakes, and apologize to Ayna?
To my surprise, the source of his recovery was the very person who caused all this.
Yes, Tenkugo.
As I said before, our protagonist is kind and gentle.
He is also very “intelligent.”
Unfortunately, that intelligence seems to reside in his lower half.
What did he do?
Did he express anger?
Did he question Tenkugo?
Did he fight her?
Of course not.
I don’t remember what he said first, but he decided she wasn’t a bad person. Somehow they became teammates and headed to the arena.
This part was handled terribly.
If the author wanted to portray a lustful and foolish protagonist, then he should have gone all the way. Make him kneel and worship her from the start.
Anyway, they set off again.
They needed something in the arena to return home.
Along the way, the usual villains appeared and mocked them. The protagonist told Tenkugo not to act impulsively.
But unlike him, she bravely fought them.
They won, as expected.
The crowd changed their opinion, and one waifu praised the protagonist. I honestly didn’t see what he contributed.
Why did he win?
Because he’s the protagonist.
So we can finally go home?
Of course not.
Cindy turns out to be the final boss.
Why did she betray me?
Apparently she was never an ally to begin with.
I forgot her reasoning. Probably buried in the author’s long and boring lore.
Anyway, we fought.
I won.
Peace at last?
No.
Another problem appears.
Tenkugo doesn’t belong in this era. If she stays, the world will be destroyed.
So she asks me to kill her.
Cue emotional flashbacks…
“I spent three months with her. How can I kill such a kind and lovely girl?”
So what does the protagonist do?
He chooses to go through the gate with her.
They leave together.
No danger.
Because he’s the protagonist.
The end.
Oh, and somewhere in all that, I returned Ayna’s arm.
Now for my thoughts.
I think VKC doesn’t understand the game or its player base.
You claim the game peaked after the shrine? That’s nonsense. Without the shrine, we wouldn’t have so many waifus. The game should be about dragons, beasts, and plants. The shrine led to a flood of overpowered waifus that ruined the strategy aspect.
You say weaker monsters can beat stronger ones through combinations. That’s absurd. Why should cheap monsters compete with mythics? Free players contribute nothing and should leave.
About the shrine again. Its inconsistent schedule causes conflict. If it never existed, there would be no issue. I believe VKC is testing player loyalty. The results show paying players are the real supporters. Prioritize them and ignore free players.
Story-wise, why make the protagonist such a bland anime stereotype? Why can’t we play as villains? I want to conquer and build my own empire like Cindy. Why must villains always lose?
I’m very disappointed.
Such a weird thing to say when the last bit of new story content we had was several YEARS ago!
Is the shrine the cause of the waifus? That doesn’t really make much sense lol
I thought the story of the new event was long and boring until I read your text haha
Certainly, just as the offline storyline, which was left unfinished years ago, needs to be continued, some new changes to the game wouldn’t be a bad idea. It’s been over a year since the last new event, and now this one is coming out so long after. Instead of investing time in this event, which has terrible rewards considering the number of fights and their difficulty, it would have been better to create new modes, add backgrounds, music, etc. But if they think that’s okay, then there’s nothing to be done.
champion not questioning tenguko was decent
there were many reasons and both of their situation was the same
…
also the bond bw them developed during 3 months
the development only feels rushed bcz it was shortened to fit it into the game and not developed as a manga.
It had sm depths as well like
tenguko after defeating teng b was trying to stay in the parallel world why?
Bcz she had nowhere to go
from 100-200 years all she was doing was searching fr her home and the moment she finally found smn (champion) who she fell in love with, a home to stay. She had to abandon it fr her love, she knew abt the later part too … she knew she will have to leave him behind, abandon the very home she dreamt of but even after all that she decided to do what was good fr him.
At the very end when everyone found out she was the reason why the gate was not disappearing she wanted her partner to kill her … at least die with comfort in hands of someone she imagined her home with the one she loved.
