Sharkrex is best used in stun teams. It is the bulkiest super epic by far, so it usually doesnāt have any issues getting a turn.

Sharkrex is a tanky, stun immune backbiter. This makes it great stun protection because it can remove any stunned teammates while healing itself (so itās really hard to kill without a one-shot attack) and is a raw sweeper. If you donāt want to backbite anything it can also deal decent piercing damage. Yeah the TU is a bit high on that but itās useful against some enemies and comfortably one-shots any fire legendary. Think of how people use Y Ddraig Gochās second form sometimes when all it can do is piercing blowā¦ itās pretty much that but deals +20% more damage (for higher TU but bear in mind you can have it +9 and can accelerate).
Ultimately itās a better Wraithhost to control whatās on your side of the battlefield while charging bloodthirst, stun protection and you can build around it with a monster like Gloreonix (it backbites the two Moji)ā¦ all with piercing blow to fall back on.

Can i suggest that beetlebrute gets moved up a tier?
with the introduction of Lunactia and Crystal Worms his union attack has become a lot more viable. he is tanky, a good sweeper especially if broodcrave is charged and he has hold ground. his cannibalize ss is a bit slow but it is a way of getting rod of tokens and healing. it is weak of course to poison, sleep and stun but aside from that it has no killer weaknesses.
i feel it is the most underrated monster in neo atm.
i know everything has to have a place but if you actually look at what it can do beetlebrute is in the wrong place. In my opinion anyway!

I thought A tier was a nice spot for it. It would be S- if there were more than a few specific good bugs in the game. So, given the team building requirements, acts more like an S tier monster in the teams where union attack is always available. Does that sound more like it?

His union attack damage seems a little bit weak thouh. On the other hand His survivor bane is really good. So I always put him in mid or near end. So imo he should be at s- or s.

thats just it. people donāt put him in fl because he isnāt an immediate threat. however i was recently playing with a fl with him in special rules and its actually quite funny in fl because people ignore it and target other monsters allowing it to just sweep.
s- seems about right. his survivor bane can kill pretty much anything even if union attack doesnāt always one hit ko.
sort of yes. though even without bug bond he can kill almost at will. bloodcrave on a monster that can heal itself with cannibalize shouldnāt be overlooked! but ultimately i respect your judgement! you are far more qualified than me to decide its place!

Imo it was pretty bad(actually below A tier for me before fd maeve and worms were introduced)
But with so many strong supports around itās easier to play now.
Beetlebrute is at least S tier easy
