šŸŽ‰ Monster Shop Update: Ore of Vitality

Believe me, I know, I’ve said many times that I have to work for my family. Many times I barely have time to get into the game.

I know you’re implying here that I’m not. However, don’t get caught up over things I’ve said about my own personal experience with this. My main concerns are about the game as a whole and the paywall that’s now been added for everyone to get their monsters HP boosted as well as how the game has lost a system that encouraged daily logging in to play for 10 minutes.

You might notice I haven’t asked for compensation in any post. All I’ve done is try to explain the impact to various parts of the game. I was only angry in the first post I wrote here, which was before VKC properly explained why they made this change. After that I said it was unfortunate and I understand why they’ve done this.

This is the best comment i have seen, i wish the bonus potions get removed as well so collection is the main advantage and only advantage

@Dev_VKC At this point it is best to eliminate the HP boosts, in PvP the impact was not so great since only a few took the time with the daily mission, now that all players have easy access to them the impact will be notable.
It’s going to be fun to read the comments when they face Kaiser with the 6 ED with boost:joy::joy::joy:

I’m not saying specifically about you, but everyone who is fighting the change. It helps EVERYONE. Hanging on to the past is not healthy, it’s gone. Let’s move forward and enjoy life with the extra minutes a day we got from this change (it adds up to a lot in year).

I’ve had to remove some toxic posts made towards other players. Please keep any discussion here civil. We can all express our opinions, it’s clear there are many different perspectives on this.

Also, VKC has asked for two things:

  1. An idea for what could become the new benefit to players for logging in to play each day (HP boost has proven too strong, it needs to be something weaker or that doesn’t power up your account)

  2. An idea for how players can be compensated for doing the daily missions for the last ~650 days, to make up for the benefit they were told they were earning from it

If you can reply to either of those that would be very productive

you are right. the only primary thing weathy to consider is that the sustainability of game.

This is the bit I’m not so sure about. Now it’s become a paywall to be competitive in the game. The benefit is that it balances SEs vs Legs vs Myths with how much they tank. That part I really like.

If anything, new players should be helped to catch up. Instead this is now giving them another hurdle to overcome. You could say it was always there, but it wasn’t so significant before because people had varying numbers of HP boost whereas now it will become the norm that people have the max number.

Besides.I cannot agree with what you said about laziness in games. Please. everyone has their life. You are hardworking so you gained free life boosts and free gems.but others should pay.no problem.

Basically I was against the boost from the start. Why add even more variables to an already unfair game? But it was done, unfortunately.
Now, the limited sale offered 100 orbs as a one off, people didn’t cry about that only a handful of players would be able to spend on it.
They could just end the whole HP boost altogether and I couldn’t care less. That should be the real discussion here.

Now people willing to spend can catch up much quicker, those who can’t are always in disadvantage anyway, so nothing changed.
For us, old players, it rewards us with one less biring grind in exchange for gems.

I don’t disagree with any changes to the game as long as they are made to improve the game. Here there is a feeling of ā€œI worked so hard all this time and now this guy comes along who hasn’t done anything and in a minute he gets the same benefit as meā€. And it’s normal to feel that way. I remember a while ago someone suggested in a thread that we implement an exchange shop for ingredients and such, and here we have it, and I think it’s positive. Someone said ā€œit’s just ten minutesā€, add those ten minutes up every day and you’ll see the real time they’ve spent collecting the orbs. Now I go and by paying a few gems in a minute I get almost the same, that’s the feeling that many here have. I understand VKC’s point but I also understand what many players think when they see this.

In the tank

Yeah, calling people lazy is definitely incorrect. We all have our lives and priorities plus there are PvP players who are very active but do not want to do PvE because they won’t enjoy it.

It’s definitely nice for a game to have something that rewards players for being so devoted to it though, and something that isn’t just ā€œhey here’s a gemā€. HP boost was a cool idea for that, it simply proved too powerful that everyone needs access to it.

It’s very understandable people would be frustrated when they’re told they’re getting something unique only to actually see everyone has it. The ā€œlazyā€ comments are that frustration talking.

You can get it by working hard to prove that it’s very unique, but others can also get it by spending money

In addition, I have always believed that life enhancement is a huge unfair advantage for games, and narrowing this gap is precisely the right thing to do. In this regard, I think dev is right

The world is inherently unfair

Well said, and I’m sure the Devs absolutely understand.

People are buying ores from the shop now at effectively double the price compared to the people who did daily missions, because you got both 1 gem + 1 ore from daily missions. However, none of that really matters to what’s happened here because that’s on the players whether they choose to do that bit of content or not. It’s like how I skip the PvP daily gem most days because I don’t feel like playing PvP. That’s a free gem I’ve missed out on, but it was my choice and not a big thing overall. What matters is the ores were meant to be special and unique, but now they aren’t and they’re very affordable so it feels like people’s devotion has been devalued.

All of this should be possible to resolve with some kind of compensation.

had saying half day you just want compensation

I think your request for compensation is wrong. This game has changed too much. Several years ago. our egg pool had no guarantee, no myth, and cost 50 gems. Do we still need to demand compensation from dev? I think there is no difference

The Life Gem itself is a free thing, and you obtained the Life Gem through your own efforts during that time, which proves that your time is very valuable, but it does not mean that it has depreciated now
