🎉 Monster Shop Update: Ore of Vitality

why do you devalue your efforts, friend? How about 1 orb = 1 Legendary ticket so your efforts are appreciated. Or ask them to duplicate the orbs that we get manually

I wonder if they just thought that it would not enrage veterans at all

I swear they always have the best ideas how to lose the support of their most devoted players.

In terms of a new user, the gap in monster collection can be resolved if the user is willing to pay for gems, but the ores missed from past Daily Missions are lost forever.

We admit that we underestimated the impact the HP Boost would have when we added this feature. Nevertheless, we are pleased with how the current boosted HP enhances gameplay and the experience it brings to every battle.

To ensure a continuously growing PvP player base, we need to eliminate this disadvantage so that new users are motivated to invest their time or money into the game. I believe a growing community is something all players would like to see.

We understand that the price for 1 ore may seem too cheap to some users, especially spenders, but we’ve tried to make it affordable for all types of users. The gap between paid users and free users should primarily come from monster collections and perhaps bonus potions; we don’t want to increase the gap beyond that.

We recognize that introducing this feature may upset some dedicated users. Please provide us with more feedback on how we can improve Daily Missions and make them worth your time, as well as suggest compensation that may make you feel a bit better.

Easy solution. If you value 1 HP ore as 1 gem then refund everyone who was dedicated to the game by sending 1gem per ore they accumulated with daily missions during those last 20+ months.

I can get behind this idea of spending tickets for Ores because some of veterans and especially spenders have way too much of them.

No, @Unown, no 1000 gems for you, just 650 :grinning:

give me that Legendary ticket as compensation! For each manual orb I have. I’m sure you don’t have the courage for that :triumph:

Of course it’s “worthless” to you, you can just buy 600 gems when you want. I’d rather save them to have a chance to awaken one of the 2 or 3 mythics I can awaken in a year. Also, these are not “small” investments for a starting player.

All the people who grinded the gems had their advantage for almost two years. That is why you grinded. Now you can choose again whether to grind or not.

The more I’ve played video games and seen these mechanics “time locked”, for example “you can’t obtain this item if you didn’t play November 19th 2019”, the more I find it infuriating. Games need new players, why have items locked ‘forever’, especially if they’re performance-enhancing?

Some of us dont want any more of this lol

oh sorry I just realized what you meant😅

they were the ones who started it first. if given the choice, I would definitely choose 6 Legendary tickets. Just in the shop, 1 orb = 1 ticket.

100 tickets would let me awaken the last shop mythic i dont own

I support this!

TICKET REFUND!

Because i think they didnt have the courage for such a little prize .

In the end they wouldnt react to players who did all this manual .

This is how they work .

But now its not worth to play this dailis

I dont really care about the gems. What about increasing the SE bond ores from 1 to 2, that would spice things up :new_moon_with_face:

Okay, I appreciate you being honest.

My understanding of this is basically the HP boost system was overall a failure so a U-turn has been done to just make it available to everyone rather than, let’s say, remove it from the game. It has a positive impact on battles due to things like balancing the SEs vs mythics, but a negative which is now there’s a paywall for everyone. So you’ve done your best to make the paywall as small as possible.

I’m sure it’s too late for this now, but I would have much preferred adding a way to catch up on ores that people had to work for. For example, daily missions giving a “bonus reward” that is equal to 1% (rounded up) of the ores you’re currently behind on, but if you’re fully caught up then it gives you 1 gem. This way everyone can catch up within a few hundred days and the people who keep on top of the daily missions get rewarded too. (For the numbers, it’s 100, 50, 34, 25, 20, 17, etc. days to catch up for each 100 behind). This would be a true catch-up mechanic, rather than an ever-growing paywall to entry.

I think it’s also worth noting that this has completely invalidated SE MBQ farming. At close to HR 300 it costs 1 gem + 3 hours to get each orb. If you’re below HR ~280 (like almost everyone) then it costs more gems to do. Now that we can buy plenty of ores from the shop there’s very little point farming for extra ones (in 1-2 years definitely no point). So I’ve spent roughly 750 hours over 2 years to farm them for an advantage I’m only really going to benefit from for the next year or two. It’s another thing that’s collateral damage here.

I’ll collect my thoughts before writing any more suggestions, but this whole thing is very unfortunate where the HP boost system has failed in a bunch of ways and now players are either left with their time and effort disrespected or facing a paywall to enter competitive PvP. I understand it’s caused a difficult situation and think them coming to the shop for 1 gem is a noble solution, but it’s brought to light what a mess this is.

True this sounds crazy cheap, but not just that it feels like those daily missions where for what?
1 gem? That’s what seems dumb to me because I understand VKC about new players not being able to get lost ores, in the end we can get event monsters later in another event or even in the eggs
Sure they could give us a compensation because if I had known this i would not have played daily missions to get 1 gem for over a year lmfao

surprising huh? time can change a person’s perception drastically.

So what do diligent players get now? just regret and disappointment

Well done @Dev_VKC. Great change.
Make things easier for everyone so new players can enjoy the game too.
Some people just want endless advantages because they are nothing in a level playing field.

For me, anything that encourages balance is welcome. I don’t care about the time I spent grinding for anything. Most of us simply enjoy playing PVP but have jobs/family to attend to so not all the time in the world for hard grinding. I rather see the community and the game grow.

The most hypocritical thing is that if it cost a fortune, certain players wouldn’t cry because only they would be able to obtain and we would not see this sea of tears coming from them.

Like @Exu said this is peak internet. People trying to use @Unown as an excuse and the guy himself is happy about the change. We’re living in mad times.

How about only allowing people to buy the orbs whose account is 200 days old or younger? Why should accounts benefit from this that had the opportunity to collect the orbs from the beginning, but were too lazy to make their dailies.

Yes! And Make it only for Hero lvl 20 or lower too! :upside_down_face:

Yes, and that is exactly what would support the statement that they are acting in the interests of the new players
