This Monster is really disappointing unlike other anniversary legendaries who were good this one needs to be +9 plus fully bonded to do a pity weak damage , the amount of effort to bond full team is colossal some people needed years (also restrictions can weaken him more if your fully bounded monster is limited ) , it’s really needs tweaking, unbreakable bond maybe should have something related really to unbreakable like Gabrielle , un unbreakable shield if all opponents are fully bonded , but in overall this monster is sooo average
I feel like they went very safe with the power level and maybe they will buff it a bit later.
I don’t think it needs much to make it very good. I think it’s good already, but for the effort you have to put in to properly get the defence buff it should probably feel like a payoff rather than simply a playable monster. That said, it shouldn’t become an auto-include if you’ve bonded your team.

The biggest counter to Mojignis, is having a bonded team face it XD. Trial of bonds does pretty bad damage even if it’s bonded vs mons that are bonded

What’s the damage like?
The skill description says “critical damage instead”, which makes it sound like it does the same damage to each enemy regardless of whether they are bonded.
My assumption is like yours where if Mojignis is at maxed bond, it will always deal critical damage.
Did about 7k on Plumesilisk in the “Test your PVP team.”
Not sure why but on Plumesilisk’s 1st form, Trial of Bonds only did 5.6k
Where did you meet a Plumesilisk in 1st form?
That damage lines up with what I saw in the test battle on the egg. It looked like it would one-shot anything except monsters with defence buffs.

I guess the 6.8k from the first screenshot was on the high end. Averaged around 5.8k - 6k this time.
At least Bond Bloodthirst deals okayish damage after 1 kill.
Yeah I figured that was just the “test your team” section with the dodgy extra damage your team does. It needs to do close to 5.5k to full defence monsters to one-shot everything without a defence buff, which it just about does.
Baby summon taking the same damage is to be expected. I thought you meant you met it in 1st form. 1st form mythics take extra damage so that confused me, but babies take normal damage.
Dunno if it’s bugged or not, but it defo doesn’t do critical damage if both mojignis or the target are bonded
6k damage is normal even in pvp for neutral targets if it’s critical damage
I’m assuming Mojignis gets a def boost from itself so if they target each other, it’ll be against a def boosted mon.
Def boost is only for allies
This damage is due to the fact that both conditions are met, namely mojignis is linked and the target is not. Without a link, this inflicts fatal damage on critical hits only on the targets unbound (which can have a link). If the target is bound it will not be able to do anything, for link it inflicts the damage that you showed on unbound targets but we do not know the damage that it will do on targets that bind itself to itself. My conclusion is that it is pretty decent. The defense boost is a gimmick and doesn’t care
