Hey guys. Having some trouble with the champion league. Any pointers would be appreciated. Any pointers also on priority of ultra evolutions. Thanks in advance! Having a heck of a time after first bout in champions league. Dont know if i dont have right order or what.
A solid general approach at that level is always having a protector available and then some damage dealer and utility.
So if I look at your second screenshot, take #1,#2,#4,#5 as front line. Chronox is great for damaging targets with few TU (time units) left, whereas the whale can timestrike those with many (skip with him if there’s no one that used a high TU cost skill just yet). Purify and heal as needed with the green fairy thingy. You likely never need to really attack with her. Just skip with her so you’ve got her ready when actually needed. In particular you should try to keep chronox alive. And then for follow ups try to space out a 2nd and 3rd protector (camel and that earth dino (sorry, I don’t know all the names by heart yet :D)) so that if the electro protector dies you aren’t without one for too long. The Stormfox with his ‘stun burst’ is best used either before a Timestriker or you put him towards the end to make it easier to set up a Last Stander. Speaking of which, make sure you have one with Last Stand at the end.
edit: And yeh, like wise the protectors, put those other 2 ‘all healers’ (Goldram and Cliocupid) in there as well. If you can keep Chronox alive he’ll swipe through most of the enemies monsters at ease.

Platybill for instance allows you to use Give Turn on Chronox so you can attack with Chronox more often. Or Grimshroom got all Sleep and Sleep Bomb. If you have a purifier next in line and you use sleep bomb you can have your entire team awaken while theirs is asleep.

Btw. you can get rid of 2 of these 3 rose monsters. In general you only want to keep one of each sort because more cannot be used in battle anyways. There’s a few exceptions like the Starter mons and their evos, which can be used for further ultra evolves, as well as cases where you might want to have both the evo and pre-evo of a monster due to cost and abilities because one might fit a certain team better than the other. But yeh, those roses won’t be part of that.
