Some nice legends for someone who only started 5 days ago :). I’m no pro, but can try and give some advise.
Firstly, I noticed that you are missing the Island Legendary (Noxdragon), so I would focus on getting him. He could be a big help to you in these early stages.
Secondly, you need to try and grind XP to push your Hero Rank up. This will increase your tickets so you don’t have to worry too much about the 20 ticket cost for Chronox missions. Here is a small page I made with all the XP Farming details per chapter/mission. Not pretty, but does the trick

Now to answer your questions:
-
Put focus on Ultra-Evolving one legendary at a time. I would suggest Orcruiser, since he gets Bloodthirst and you don’t have any other monsters with blood moves. From there, move onto Darkrider, Cyberwyrm/Wrathengine etc. Once they are all done, you can focus on some of the SE’s (perhaps Subzeratops and Inuhound) as well as Frillzeon to get Stun Bomb.
-
As mentioned above, for now just use them to grind XP.
-
From what I remember, it’s not a very long quest and is not too difficult to complete. If you can at least double your Hero Rank then you should have around 50 or so tickets available. Should be able to complete Chronox in 2 or so days.

With regards to team setup, it might be easier to see your current team and then try and improve on that.
Okay, probably the number one thing I should say right now is that you really need to focus on ultra evolving your stuff. In particular, Darkrider, Cyberwyrm and Wrathengine are quite lackluster in their second forms, but improve leaps and bounds once you finish them. Though you might not be in a place to evolve them soon, so start with your epics. Your first priority should be one of tank monsters(like Glyther or Halotoise). Again, they’re terrible in second form, but gain some badly needed skills when they fully evolve. your next focus should be Frillzeon and Frostknight. Frillz gets Stun Bomb. an insanely volatile move that can neutralize the whole team for a good long time, and Frostknight gets Stun Revenge, which coupled with his duplicating can produce multiple stun opportunities, which is an absolute must alongside Darkrider and Orcruiser, since they need to survive for a long time. Hold off on the super epics until you get something better, because frankly the ones you have now aren’t going to do much for you.
I remember Zohar, he was a nasty little booger. His theme is poison, It’s extremely essential to have lots of purification handy, so you’ll need Clioangel, Stegospike, and hopefully one or two epic tanks once they’re evolved. Stego was the very guy that got me through the whole fight when I was stuck on it, just a very long stream of purifys keeping my whole team safe. Just keep the poison away, and you should be fine.
Or follow Luc’s suggestions. He does know more than I do
Duly noted guys, very much appreciated. Thanks a lot, these clear up a lot of things for me!
Wow, only 5 days, 5 legends, F2P!
Chronox is very much worth getting.
The way I like to approach ultra evolution is to avoid asking “Which of my monsters is the strongest and thus deserves to be evolved?” but instead ask, “Which of my monsters would _benefit _from evolution the most?” If you have an unevolved that’s doing a great job already, feel free to leave it alone for the time being and focus on the monsters that truly need it.
Quick tip, with that team if you can set up either orcruiser or wrathengine behind some protectors and stun absorbers they will sweep a LOT of monsters by themselves. Wrathengine especially is slow but very powerful if it gets going.
I thought it only got stealth from evolving, is the damage really that bad unevolved?
Nope, it has Stealth All already but no Bloodthirst. As a general rule of thumb most legendaries get their bloodthirst move when you ultra evolve them.
So for Orcruiser it means you’re mostly stuck doing stealth all non-stop until you can novablast then back to stealth all again. That’s not too bad of course but if you’re low on sweepers, as every new player is, then evolving him is a lot better and you can focus your team around it a bit more to get a reliable setup for novablast.
I remember as a newer player I found Warca and Bazilogon very hard to deal with. They make a very good front line in the early stages and I even still use Bazilogon now. What I’d suggest is Warca, one-on-one SE and SE protector. Then add one or two cheap monsters at the back of your team. Stealth all and use protect teammates then one-on-one to put almost everyone to sleep for 320s. If their one monster left awake is a problem then you can always use throw and charge the bloodcrave. After the sleep finishes then Warca will be very close to novablast so a couple of skips past enemy turns will allow you to do it. The front line doesn’t work everywhere but I am quite sure it’s awesome to have early on in the game. If all goes well you’ll have swept 4-5 monsters and have two monsters with charged blood moves as well as a protector keeping the fire off them and stealth whenever you need it.
Just as proof: http://neomonsters.wikia.com/wiki/Orcruiser
It’s not the damage that’s bad, just the fact that he doesn’t have a stealth as a convenient way to kill time while waiting for the bomb. Without it he either has to aoe, spending way more time than needed and exposing him to time strike, or skip repeatedly, which he won’t be a able to do in pvp.
Eh I think the focus is more pve in this case since op wanted help with chapter 1, but fair point
Wow thanks for all the help guys, its nice to know there are many people who help newbies such as myself. With your help I was able to clear the Khanate invasion.
@killerdog: I’ll try that setup since I just pulled a Dinoraider and he has those moves, but I don’t know if I should pour resources on him since I don’t see him anywhere on the tier list
Once again thanks so much guys
The SE monsters are listed by moveset since there are monsters with the same moves but different elements and names.
I think throw/bloodcrave/timestrike is pretty high though
