Hey I was wondering why there is a cap on how many likes u can use in a day. If there is some reason can someone tell me please. It also says that u ran out of positive like, it’s not like too many likes will hurt the website (unless it crashes or something but i wouldn’t know). I would like it if the devs(or whoever made this website) could not put a cap on likes.
I know this isn’t a big deal but it bothers me when i want to like something then can’t, and wait for the next day to use up all my likes on something from yesterday.
Soooo do u think they r going to change this or not?id be fine with either way, I’m sorta like a third party, I know I won’t win(election wise) but I make my point
The website I’m staff on has a similar thing - the reputation system. It’s supposed to be used for good content or careers and such. But ultimately it gets wasted on “funny comments” etc and the members who make the good content lose out to the barely active members who come out with one liners. Having a limit, and then having no limit made no difference and now we’re looking at the possibility of having an upvoting format like on reddit.
Not sure what to say about it, but there’s another site I go on that has a “is this helpful?” button. Usually I like every post that’s funny, meaningful, or informative to me, but on that site, I don’t simply because of the wording. If it’s funny but not helpful, I’m not going to press it. Of course not everyone is like me, but it’s something to think about.
