I love that idea, restricted pvp for me is more interesting than normal pvp, i would even suggest developers keep it up to the qualifying pvp because i don’t understand what goal it is to use only the rule in the first phase.
With the restrictions many who have never been top can improve their position of previous rankings and thus the ranking is more varied and interesting. If it were not for the restriction that there was 2 pvp behind it would have never been top 50 since each month that passes is more hard to sneak into the best.
