The devs gave fair warning about this before they implemented BQ. I can’t really speak for why only a certain few monsters got new icons, but it really doesn’t seem that big a deal… icons are just cosmetic, after all. Do you really think it’d be feasible to give every single legend in the game a second icon, after they’ve already busted their butts making first icons for everyone that was left out before? It certainly would be helpful if the rewards page made it clear that the monster in question has 2 icons rather than 1 though.

So people got a free icon before just for owning the monster… now they they put in some effort and didn’t get a new icon they’re like OMG IT ISN’T FAIR I ALREADY GOT THAT ICON FOR FREE.
Seriously guys, just be happy you got icons easily in the past. The new system with the icons coming from MBQ is far better but now people have to work for it. Feel pity for the new players who have to go through the effort rather than be angry at you not getting more for yourself.
MBQ gives gems and things other than icons. For the monsters you already have icons for this is the reason to do it. It’s very nice that the Devs added extra icons for some so there will be a few you can specifically do for more icons if you want them.
I feel very sorry for support having to spend time answering emails about this. MBQ is an extremely good addition to the game!
P.S. Levels 1-80 are very easy. It then gets severely challenging beyond that.

The one i concern mostly because why scorpio got new icon and sloth not? There is no clear which monsters have new icon. Yeah in this case my friend hasn’t unlock old icon of sloth before. So you say new icon only for the one who have the old icon before?
More and more new icons will be added to the game in the future, not only for new monsters but also existing monsters.
If a player has completed MBQ Lv80 previously, the new icons will be sending to the reward box instead.

Most mythics have close up on their faces like Arach, Kurao and Drag. I beg for an Onyxia close up too
