Really glad to see a special rule in play forcing people to utilize unique monsters and team builds instead of tbe same old thing over and over. Very diverse with this rule limiting everyone to only SE monsters. Ive seen a wide variety of different FLs so far such as: Crystal Wyrms, CWs, and C. W. To name a few.
Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and it is showing some very creative things this Special Rule PvP so far

Not a surprise. Developer made teams are meta now. Forever. A lot of people canāt think for themselves and prefer the spoon feeding.

I dont really have a problem with CW, i have them and fit them in at times, it just doesnt have any variety when its 4 CW in FL over and over and over and over lol

I also find it funng that, during a special rule where only SE and below are allowed, the Devs are featuring each of the CW in tandem in the eggs during this time. Remarkably hilarious marketing strategy right there.

What do you expect? they are not generic monsters like scarleguard, abys soldier, Flutterdrake or willowyrm. theyāre like pyramids or thlugs itās almost impossible to use them outside the āfront lineā or outside their Team
I thought, I was the first player who made them very popular and some people started use them. I felt challenged to try something new in the rules and it worked and the results were very good for me personally

Super defensive. Chill lol. Im not saying anything against the playerbase for using what they have. Its commentary on the Devs for them trying to āadd varietyā to the game when they have a dev made S class group of SE monsters, make a special rule where its only SEs and below, and then market those very SEs in the current eggs during said special rule. Its genious marketing, but its also bs on the statement of them doing special rules to add variety. Its all for marketing and money making, which is understandable, but i prefer honesty over anything else. Too much to ask from business people.

I reckon youāre thinking too much into it. They just made a special rule that creates a very different meta to what we usually see. The result is the SE cycles somewhat dominating because theyāve been balanced for PvP with legendaries but there are still plenty of powerful SEs you can use. Itās also worth noting that itās hard to build around certain SEs when we canāt use any of the legendaries or mythics, while the SE cycles work almost as well. E.g. anything link is severely restricted.
Back to the point, these SE cycles have been featured in eggs quite a lot over recent months. Itās definitely not standing out as a particular marketing strategy for this special rule.
