I just got slaughtered by one of the coolest teams I've come across. Care to share some of your PvP stories? (Part 1)

Love how he came and showed everyone at the top the true power of mythics. He is the whale version of @Josuinho. I can’t wait to see him do this more often. Maybe the devs will slow down on making mythics that are just… not fun to play against.

Good job, cancer! :+1:t2:

Well josuinho was also a fairly large spender but the difference is cancer wouldn’t even come close to top 1 without all the mythics he uses. It is pretty funny to see cancer (like the actual name) on the top of the leaderboard

Exactly! This is the ultimate proof of how broken mythics can be. I’m just waiting for him to appear in the forum and tell everyone this was a social experiment!

They changed it so tickets come back every 50 minutes rather than 25 minutes. We got something like 121 matches at maximum over these 4 days so 100k is something like 92% win rate.

Well I can’t speak for him apparently making lots of “noob mistakes” in the battles themselves (a few people mentioned this). However, I have no doubt the reason why everyone is rude about him and moans about every aspect is because he’s not known by the community. We’ve seen that lots of times in the past for any successful player who isn’t part of the community. They have to be labelled as a “noob”, “whale”, “new player getting lucky out of nowhere” and other similar things. People are either sore losers or just can’t believe that someone outside the community could be successful. Then with people who are in the community but not liked they will also not be given proper credit (like Mr. X).

This Cancer player is big on the rise. From my understanding, he was formerly DLGZ Lucky Star and is a big spender who’s been expanding his collection and learning lots over the past few months. Each season he’s been doing better and now he got his first 1st! Well done to him and I’m happy to see how much he’s supporting the game for all of us.

Why do I feel like I have been lumped into the toxic people? I literally complimented him and I think he very much deserved the respect from other top players (who seem to want to discredit just because of his name or, like you mentioned, he is not in the forum). Don’t make me put on the cone, you bad BAD doggo!

@NoelLemon2 “toxic” is a word that people use to describe those they dislike because they aren’t articulate enough to come up with more specific adjectives

Imo being a huge spender is not bad at all, is good for supporting the game and is fun having new stuff to play into your teams.

What concerns me is that this guy literally started using some tactics after being wrecked by them, Bouncy was wrecking him with Cynthia + Nefa? He started using it. Scorpionking wrecking him with Lemon + Blazebones? Started using it.

Those are just few examples, but he started pulling togheter everything it wrecked him.
This is not top 1 behavior imo, and I don’t respect him as a champion for that.

PS: he copied my FL too, just for the records.

It’s as if he was learning from other people and adapting to the meta game… hmm. Weird, I know.

I could do the same or even worst, then I’ll have people calling me skill-less.
So if a new player does it “Woah! A true champion!”
If I do it “You have no skill, just running a bunch of mythics”

How is that fair?

Sorry but @Icono or @Unown are the real :goat:s

Cancer thank you for exposing to the community how this game is intended and should be played.

You’re my dawg but your nobility is your weakness when it comes to this game there are no style points, these people will never like you. MLK was noble his opponents congratulated him with a bullet.

What I said wasn’t directed at you at all. I know you said the word “whale” but you weren’t saying anything disrespectful to him… which is what I was talking about. No need to feel guilty and lump yourself in with what I wrote!

Sorry for using the word “whale” in the phrases I listed. Pretty bad call on my part considering it’s a word you used a few posts back. I didn’t realise at the time. Guilty dog face

I think you’re talking this too personal. You read the discussion on Line and know how some people think about Cancer. We all know he is still a rookie.
It’s true that he gathered some of the most powerful strategies in his team, but you can’t blame him for that, if you’re a newbie, copying others is the best way to learn. Im sure in a near future we’ll se some original strategies coming from him.
He getting #1 is part of the game as you know. Time to pass the page and think on stronger combinations for next PVP season. I’m sure you can prove again that a great strategy is better that a punch of OP things. Look at this as a challenge, since it certainly is
