I have a serious question.

Beating your opponent is never winning, it’s about the spirit.
You can use the “run” option to quit the match rather disconnecting. Believe me it can waste more than a minute of your opponent, just for playing good, and people don’t have free time for your stupidity.

You can’t win by just pouring in money, you should know how to use your mythics and even legendaries like @DonT89 and Cancer. I suggest going F2P for awhile and learn the game like @LemonSqueezy and @MementoMori .

I don’t know if I’d call any reason for forfeiting a game “wrong” per se, I think most people do that more or less often for different reasons that are well within their own judgement (same goes for never surrendering).

It’s not like that’s against any rules (afaik), there is a button for it after all. I’d recommend using that instead of disconnecting though. No one wants to get their time wasted even when harshly countering your opponent’s team, we’re not gonna get there by adding to it.

More to the point you’re making though, I am unsure whether I would go along with the distinction I’m reading in your initial question. Is there really a big difference between your opponent using your paid awakened mythics against you versus, say, an opponent using someone else’s most precious and hard earned favorite legendary or unawakened mythic that was obtained without paid gems?

Obviously, you don’t get awakened mythics through a single lucky egg roll whereas that is very possible for the rest of the monsters. In reality though, we know that most strong monsters are acquired via huge time investment and lots of frustrating rolls on the way.

Whether it is through time spent in the game to collect free gems or money spent in the game (which you earned by spending time working usually, so I believe there is less difference than some people tend to believe), we all invest in our collection and I think how much we appreciate them and view them as ours and are upset when they are used to defeat us doesn’t really have to do with the currency we used to get them.

You could turn it around too and put a f2p’s monster, which he got after 3 years of chasing it, against an awakened mythic of a fresh spender who started 2 months ago, asking who would feel the “loss” of having it necro’d against himself harder.

Long story short, I think you have every right to quit a match when you encounter something that upsets you and your example is no exception to me. I do not think though that this has anything to do with p2w/f2p, as I would without additional limitation say the same to anyone who’d describe your scenario with monsters that are acquired without paid gems.

Im not offended anyway

Lmao i never said i disconnected. Don’t jump into conclusions so easily

I know the game very well, been playing since 2015. Your speach to me has no point lol

Once again i don’t disconnet, i never said said anything bout disconnecting

I’m sorry, I did not mean that to be directed towards you, as you did not mention that at all. I was speaking in a general sense as it came up in other posts, I should have made that more clear though.

Lol :joy: I’d feel the same way :joy: :joy: :joy:

If you cannot win against an opponent who has your monsters scattered throughout their team at random, then that suggests that you are not using your monsters strategically, because your opponent should not be able to use your monsters as effectively as you with no planning or strategy

This thread is… honestly ridiculous.

Dane is not complaining about a game mechanic being a problem (revival / mirror revenge). He’s instead making a point that it’s unfair people get to play with monsters he spent money for. It’s a game mechanic, they don’t keep the monsters after the battle!

I never thought I’d see something quite like this. Perhaps I should start a topic saying “I have a serious problem with all stun protection. I spent money on my stun monsters but they cannot win me every game because these stun protection monsters stop them from working. Please fix”.

@Dane Lose your pride over your spending. You’re not buying complete ownership of your monsters, you’re buying digital game pieces to use in an online game.

It’s good to stand up for others in the community and I know that as a paying player you feel like other paying players are your brethren. However, you should know when a person has said something so daft that trying to defend them will make you look daft too. The mocking was nothing to do with Dane being a spender and the fact he spends doesn’t make him any more or less a human so he’s accountable for what he says.

This is just absurd. Dane, no offense, if you feel like that, I’m sorry, but I am locking this because it has the potential to open up the door for all kind of nonsense Threads flooding the forum.
