I know the devs say gold eggs are “random” and I’ll go along with that…
BUT if any of you guys (stares at Lochi) come up with a method and I’ve seen some pretty good ones increase the odds…feel free to share with the community here.

Yes please, would be appreciated!
All I basically did for better results since if I do it normally I would never have gotten a legendary I have terrible luck lol
What I did was watch the revolution of the egg wheel after pressing stop and seeing where I ended up to where I started based on how long I took to press stop and how the fast the wheel was going it was pretty much always the same but I would occasionally mess it up or press start or stop at the wrong time o got all my legendaries doing this
But the egg wheel has changed but it should be a lot easier as the wheel does not change speeds anymore but I have noticed it’s harder to press stop then before but once I’ve grabbed a legendary on the new wheel il have the perfect way of getting legendarys that would apply to everyone just waiting and testing at the moment
I got a legendary (Omegaling) spinning on the Encore egg, and missed a legendary twice by a small margin.
All I’ve done on my legendaries is aim for the first super epic after a legendary slot. A little variance around it and I can get one, but it’s by no means perfect.
Basically the same as lochi, you start on the legend slot, and then stop on the same slot so you can time precisely 1 revolution. Then you just adjust based on how far away you are.
I haven’t tried the new wheel yet but apparently it’s easier.
I go with my feeling, so far im super Lucky haha! I dont count or anything
Got my slyphox by starting on the legendary slot and counting to 5 and pushing stop. This may only work with one set of the legendary slots seeing as they are not all evenly spread out
There seems to be two egg systems, as far as I can tell.
I got an Omegaling using the method JRAlthouse used.
I got a +1 shadowit and a Penguini (yay, my first ever last biter), on the second wheel, but counting to five ended up somewhere in between legendary slots.
There are usually 24 legendaries, and only 5 slots on each wheel. Are there four/five separate wheels with different timers on it?
There are different wheels with different monsters but I think a legendary slot is going to be the same no matter which slot you hit or on which wheel
I was 1 away from a legendary 4 times
Freaking A dude. Just got my first legendary after using this method. I don’t know the patterns for the wheel but I waited for the second Legendary slot then pressed start. Counted to 5 and BAM my first legendary from eggs. Sadly enough is a Cryowyrm. I guess my luck wasn’t so great anyway lol.
The count to 5 seems to work so far then
Something’s definitely changed in the wheel. I’ve spun the the wheel twice since the update with no particular timing, and got supers both times. Still not a single damn legend, though.
The wheel speeds up again when I spun it yesterday, it didn’t do this when they “just” updated the game…leading me to believe they might have further randomized the process. 5 seconds (human seconds NOT timer seconds) after hitting STOP after passing the gold bar did yield ONE legend. The other 2 tries were not even close. Perhaps the speed variance is randomized after hitting stop, HI implemented this later on after we all were hitting the 5000 gold slot consistently.
Looks like wheel is harder now
I’m really unlucky, I just get epics, no matter what I do, no matter what method I try :S
The wheel has been made harder now to make it more random from previous posts I can presume the random factor is the change of speed variance now changes when you press stop and each time the speed changes making it near impossible to predict the movements of the wheel
But if someone could find out what method or timing they use to decided the random factor maybe you could control the wheel, I have no idea though at the moment
If that’s the case then it’s not even worth trying to find a method, if it’s a variation in variation then it’ll take way too many eggs to realistically figure out.
Very true well I’m stuffed I’m not a very lucky person when it comes to chance I normally rely on skill and other methods
Here’s to hoping someone figures it out before ultimadragon and aegisdragon
