If you’re going with one of those forum generators that gives you a free forum using PHPBB, MyBB, or IPB (<= 1.3), pick one that uses MyBB. It’s the best free one you’ll get of the choices.

Thanks Ash do you know of anyone that would be able to create me a template/skin that would work with Wordpress so I could get mybb on it or if there’s a way to. Unless you know a forum  that involves paying and its way better,im fine with installation as long as I have instructions.

P.S. Last thing unless theres a great forum that has a great blogging ability like wordpress or I can install something, because thatd be my best option as I have credit for GoDaddy hosting.

If you’re looking for a forum that has blogging capabilities, you’re going to want to look for a forum that offers a blogging plugin or package that goes with it. To tell you the truth, IPB (the same software this forum is made from) excels at that. I’m sure vBulletin does too but I’d always choose IPB over vBulletin. There’s also this Xenforo one coming up… I know very little about it so I can’t help much there.

But these ones (definitely IPB and vBulletin) cost a good amount of money. So if you’re looking for free, MyBB is still probably your best option. You may be able to find a plugin with it for blogging, or just use other blogging software on the same server as the forum software. (If you want them to be integrated, that’s another story). 

If you’re fine with installing your own forum software (and you have a server for it already), then that’s a great option. It will give you fine control over it, as opposed to being restricted by the host of the forum creation software. MyBB can be installed rather simply that way through FTP.

I’m not entirely sure what your situation is, so I can only provide real general help.

Well what happened is I spent 72 on a plan for the go daddy website builder which was a waste the only reason i went to it is because people talked highly about until I realized it sucks so I have 72$ in credit, I shouldve asked someone on the forum first like you. im pretty much going to have a site where people can discuss topics from consoles to mobile games and Id have a daily blog about those subjects. My budget is 50$ for now thought so I may save up money as I looked at IP it seems great. The good thing is have that credit for hosting so I could install the software onto the server via Filezilla once I have 225$.
