While each individual is silly for doing this, in the playerbase as a whole you know there are always going to be some people who struggle to make 500 gems their “0”. The shrine is a bit predatory on people being like that. It either significantly punishes them or it pushes them to spend a bunch of m0ney to get back up to 500.

So I choose to blame the shrine itself, I think it’s the core problem. I pity the people who cannot control their gem spending. They weren’t punished for it much in the past, but now they are.

You can sometimes survive with 480 gems even, because of the day’s loginand the 5 and 50 shrine.

but anything lower is pushing it

No! No! 500 is the “0”. Anything lower is stealing from yourself

Add a setting: Spend 500 gems to obtain permanent shrine status

1200 is the new 0 for me since last anniversary.

Yeah no, that was ridicoulous. If this year does the same “festival” banner stuff like they did last year, there will be a hell lot more awakened than just the 1 anniversary mythic and extra higher odds banner

Why not, i hope it becomes the standard thing for the entire year. There is no point in awaking old mythics aim for the new the old will get discounted eventually

People with over 1000 gems should be blocked from shrine … And then watch them all come crying for it instead of being “happy” that some are getting gems and catch up in the game

I do think that KD is the one player who would acctuly be happy with this arengment and show genuine joy for the community :relieved: if this happend afcourse

No! No! 500 is the “0”
[/quotThen by default it should be made. Like when we reach 500 gems game will swallow our gems and then everyone can shrine lifetime

I don’t know what you could both be thinking about where my mind goes when I hear this…

What I actually think: This would be a horrendous change for everyone except big spenders (who it’s bad for but less so much). It pressures people to hatch for things they don’t want to and nobody can even take proper advantage of gem offers because when you buy the gems you might have to go “waste” some of them.

There’s negatives almost everywhere with this wild concept that I don’t even have to justify I’m not simply speaking as a biased hoarder :stuck_out_tongue:

P.S. I still haven’t done any egg hatching with gems since the anniversary. Very nearly up to 3000 gems again now! Would’ve easily been there already if my shrines hadn’t been: 605, 606, 624, 647, 625, 633, 699.

There’s only one prblem I have with you advocating for saving, which makes a new player wince and get lynched into the darkness of never opening the game again.

You have a lot of legends and awakened mythics, they do not.

It’s easy to say “save” if you have the monsters for actual gameplay. But poor “Bob” that just downloaded the game last week will only have a cat.

There must be a cutoff point where people say saving is more worth than spending, especially since “Bob” somehow has to get at least 440 gems on his own if he has the max 5 and 50 shrine values…with only a cat.

I’m not saying it’s impossible. But poor “Bob” with absolutely no knowledge in the game has literally been thrown to the deep end.

Just an idea, but make a guide for poor “Bob” to reach that in a month with free monsters only, if he is sent on a saving path.
