okay? is announcing a delay suppose to be worse than never saying anything? i think you got it backwards.
Sure, it’s normal for Shrine to be a couple days late, even a day or two earlier at times. However, 10 days or longer, I think a courtesy announcement would have been brilliant. You know, so players aren’t left panicking or wondering what the heck is going on. it may have even stopped some rumors from going around and scaring players even more.
This also left some people looking foolish by saying the shrine will be 2 days off. and then, “don’t worry, it will be here Friday! “ oh shoot. it will surely be here on Monday, obviously… and here we are now.
But at least we know it will be this week. Thank you for letting us know, vkc. people can stop saying it was removed and the apocalypse is coming.
That’s the individual’s fault if the first reaction is panicking without thinking first. And believing rumors…
Friday… Monday… Predictions (emphasis on this word because that’s what they are and you should always think critically about them unless the source is VKC himself) were off by a week or a few days. So they were pretty good ones!
It’s also not such a big deal. There’s plenty of other activities to enjoy while waiting. And we got a new event too!

but no worries, i agree with most of what you said 100%, with the exception of the announcement part. This clearly would have helped a bit. but it is what it is. maybe the dev didn’t think players would respond how they did after just a couple days of no shrine. i know i sure didn’t expect it. Some of it was pure comedy gold.

Yes I know and it was based on Evertale’s lucky fountain which usually starts in a similar time. I’m not a dev so my prediction can be wrong. But still it wasn’t too far off since it’s coming this week
If this delays the Sanctuary, I’m going to complain again and again. I much prefer the Sanctuary, where I always get the minimum number of gems, to this event, and most players are furious about it. It was supposed to be the Sanctuary on time and properly, and then this new event. Because of this, the comments about the new event are more negative than positive.
It’s annoying to see how the devs created the Sanctuary specifically to help F2P players, only to then shorten its duration—which used to last 21 days or more, providing a huge boost to those players. And yet, whenever the event gets delayed by just a few days, these “children” act as if they have some inherent right to complain or whine about it. Grow up, show a little more gratitude, and stop crying so much.
Men the shrine is a Big help but many years we play withaout him It’s true there are many monsters and that’s necessary, but whether you like it or not, being free-to-play, if you want to progress you have to play the game.Too much! Don’t miss a single event, achievement, do everything you can, all the bqs, etc., because…It’s easy to complain about the sanctuary and not progressing when you don’t use strategies to win events From the game itself, which offers several gems

I agree there has been more arguing here than we’d like. I’ve been trying to keep an eye on it so the thread can be left open for people to share their thoughts, but I and the other moderators are definitely on the fence about it (hence why we closed it temporarily already).
If people try to stir things up we may take action against that. I’ve seen a few posts doing that, it’s not helpful.
Most say, they hate us for being f2p, but the f2p look at all the commotion they cause for a sanctuary that did not arrive on the expected day and the sanctuaries have never had an exact date, it has happened other times it has even taken up to a month and it is explained over and over again and the same debate continues endlessly.
man i know as a developer its tiring to handle all types of people but remember just a few doesn’t represents the whole community. i mean both way.
the guys who say shrine is for free 2 pay so you guys are getting its should be happy ( most people doesn’t agree to this)
also to guys who completely gets bonkers for everything
(just know in the end our time is limited, we can’t login everyday and play, so getting shrine in consistent manner helps to prevent the anxiety of losing out or login everyday)
we play games to escape reality not take another burden

i will humbly request you to do something of a calendar or future plan systems even unpopular games are doing it to make people excited and hold on to game
There were even some players who thought the sanctuary’s delay was due to an update, but we seriously need an update that’s actually worthwhile.
Most updates are just balance changes, fixing bugs that then create new ones, and it’s the same thing.
We need something that creates a before and after, something that truly captures the players’ attention. Personally, I had more fun playing the Six Trials EX event than this Eras event.
This is just my opinion; you are free to disagree if you wish, but I urge the players who enjoy this wonderful game to propose ideas that will enhance the game.
Some top players even quit the game because they didn’t see any improvements in this area.
