Based on how they play:
Holy: Kanna. Good even unawakened.
Shadow: Carmilla, obvious reasons, used it as a friend monster a lot during hell mode battles and it was nothing short of amazing.
Fire: Kunomi, the only Waifu I’m actively trying to awaken. Fun concept that I’m going to use in my link fire team.
Water: Unicera. Great utility and super fast.
Storm: Ayna is actually a great concept.
Earth: Kirina. Trying to manipulate the HP to your advantage is engaging and requires forward planning.

(Since I was little boy I have liked mermaids and when I saw Leira for the first time it was love at first sight!)
