Remember if deathroulette chokes and hits one of your own, he can still immediately follow it up with double retrib to make up for it. He has the potential to be great, and his his skill set makes it impossible for him to be bad unless he hits himself, that’s the same as rexo though.
You’re either going to get cheap kills with death roulette spam, and cover your losses when you hit your own by using double retrib. I’d say he’s borderline OP, because double retrib allows him to bypass aegisdragon guarding since it hits two mons. Additionally, if he lands death roulette, aegis will block it and hit hold ground (as DR now does like 1M dmg). You basically have 50% chance of hitting Aegis to HG, and 12.5% chance of suicide and 37.5% of Double Retribution fodder.
I just got him, and I already have aegisdragon. So I am excited to test him in pvp with aegisdragon as his guarding.
What I’d you sacrifice one of you minions, for heal or stunbomb, will that activates his ability?
I wondering if Zeberius’ double retribution would also activate, when you do a summon swarm with your monsters and sacrifice the rockoid to throw, heal, etc.?
The basic problem is that it has to hang around waiting for someone else to die, and worse it can be stunned.
In a pvp arena I think it’s just going to be like aurodragon: potentially good, but too difficult to build around without specific monsters.
Hell I have like 24 legends and I’m struggling to see how I could make a team around it. Relying on it as a sweeper just seems too unreliable.
I don’t think you should rely on it. Him plus a death revenge is a quick 3 for one early on. If he dies after that he Stuns. That is more than efficient enough for pvp. Problem with auro is that 30% chance you might get a monster with one hp back if someone dies. With him you will get two kills if someone dies. Whole different animal
It doesn’t have to wait around. You death roulette until it hits a friendly monster. You have to spam it until it hits one of yours. They way you build around it is by surrounding it with fodder that supports it with give/team turn, stun bomb, desperate doublers(death roulette triggers it), holdgrounders, healers.
Yea and 1 out of 8 times he is going to death roulette himself making the rest of your front line useless and losing you pvp points. In pve it doesn’t matter that much. It’s all about consistency and having a reliable sweeper no matter what happens.
I agree, if you put him next to nebelronix, you get 3 kills. But then you have to assume that he will be right next to nebel dying. In pve that’s easy with unlimited skipping, but in pvp you’ll get pinned down many times. Then you have to do death roulette risking he kills one of your 2 or even more legendairies on the field. So 2 monsters with a cost of 26 and still not a lot of reliability. Puffoxin and rhynobrawl or more efficient than this I think.
Maybe in combination with Atra and using his summons he can work pretty good. Maybe when they introduce more first ones, they will all work very well together. If there would be a monster able to bring in monsters from the back (like rockoids), this new guy would really be extremely powerfull.
You miss understand. You can canabalize the death revenge monster immediately. That activates death revenge and turns on retribution which you can follow up with right away. No reason to use nebel. I would just use the 2 cost ryhorunt
That is incorrect. I have been using atrahasis’ canabalize on my own death revenge for months now. It activates and hits the opponent, then artras bloodcrave is live. I also have the zibel and have tested his canabalize. It works the same way.
I guess they fixed this in recent updates. I knew that because at least two months ago I used rexo to kill my death revenge, and the revenge landed on my rexo.
BTW, if revenge moves always land on enemies regardless who kill the revenge monster, they might be too much OP.
Must have been a sudden death specific issue. Cannibalize has worked correctly with death revenge since atrahasis came out. I think that was February or March. The was that not in the patch about fixing sudden death that no one knew what it was referring to. Maybe that was it
