Nilo is easy to find if you follow the landbridge up from arborus until you can get off on the right side and go to the bottom of the peninsula.

Every monster in the game is in the list (if it’s not in this one it’s in part 2). Use the search (CTRL + F, CMD + F, or type Halocat in the URL bar on a mobile device and tap “find Halocat” at the bottom of the screen that comes up).
I have a quick question for you all. When looking for a certain monster eg: Rexy and the list/guide says 1 west, 1 South, does that mean go 1 west then 1 south or either 1 west or south?
One west then south. It goes in order not randomized.
Having such a hard time with the starters!! I found all the dragons easy peasy but the starters are killing me! People are saying that they are in different spots then these they say frost kit is in 1 north, bracci is 2, sparkape 3 and the pig is 4? I’m confused now,
If you thought all the dragons were easy to get, consider yourself extremely lucky. Some people farm for days for just one dragon hatchling and they don’t see even one.
As for the starters, they’re the first four arrows north from Orlen. Frostkit is in the first arrow above Orlen, Brakie is the second arrow above Orlen, Sparkape is the arrow to the right of Brakie’s arrow and snorkling is the arrow above brakie’s arrow.
You guys sure Nilo is at 2 east? Been looking for a long time…
Yes Nilo is one of those rares. There is a 1/80 (1.25%) chance it will spawn.
Oh, really? I always thought 1/80 was 2%, since I didn’t bother to do the math anyway, but I’ll let people know that it’s actually 2% and not 1.25% unless they changed it.

So, Ashley, amazing job! This list is fantastic and a wonderful resource for players! I was wondering, though, the layout for the lands around Orlen is peculiar. With Snorkling, do you find him in the mountains or on the path next to the woods?

Hey Ash, I was reading through the comments of this forum due to my frustration of spending a few hours searching for starters and dragons. I happened to read that after 2,000 tries that you are guaranteed a started or dragon. How does the counting of tries work? For example, must I try on the same spot 2,000 times without exiting to find him, or does it save? Does the number of tries reset if I move to a different spot? Thanks in advance…
