You’re looking this the wrong way. By “people who can hatch mythics” you mean people who spend loads but I disagree. I see mythics as a overtime project and if you wanna awaken something then save gems to specific eggs with your wanted mythic featured with 10x. It’s not impossible for f2p to awaken mythics
I just want everyone to have the possibility to get a shard instead of a ticket.

I read it as the anniversary egg will have a “1st 10-pack guaranteed mythic” like in the past where we had 1st, 3rd and 6th packs guaranteed legendary. We won’t be handed 40 gems instantly and it won’t be a preset mythic, just one from the pool of the anniversary egg.
I am very glad they are not giving us 40 gems instantly like the 50 gems last year. People restarting accounts over and over clogged up the servers (as others have said) and it was not a good way to have people starting the game doing that until they got something ridiculous like a Delugazar + 3 other legendaries they’re happy with. 80 gems from login is two 10-packs, we couldn’t have asked for more! Everyone technically gets a mythic for free because of this.
@DonT89 You should have ~2/3 chance at a new mythic from the anniversary egg since they’ll probably feature a brand new mythic you don’t have. 40 gems for a decent chance at one new mythic and helping you get on your way to awakening it is not anything to complain about. The fact that you have a higher chance to get a 7* ticket from it is something you always face every time you roll. Please don’t make a big deal over it when the Devs have been incredibly generous to us all.

Honestly, I think this is a word game. My understanding is that the official will still send 40 gems to you immediately, then 80 gems and 20 rare should be signed in. so as I understand, this year the server will still be explosion
Well I don’t know anout increasing drop rate, right now is terrible. Especially for featured ones…

No but lets say they remove onyxia and xyz from the egg and add 2 brand new mythics in it, that itself makes higher odds for dontto hatch something new
This is just an example of what could happen, as far as i know I don’t know what they will “remove” from the egg
Guys I am not complaining about devs generosity really! I really appreciate what they are doing. But still thinking that three 7S tickets will be more fair for everyone. You can you 7S tickets as you wish!

Just pointing this out, last anniversary the banner said ‘free 10 in 1 pack’. This banner says nothing about a free 10 in 1 pack, just that the first pack is a guaranteed mythic

With three 7S tickets will no matter about the odds. EVERYONE will get a mythic guaranteed! Who wants a new one, can use it there, who want to awaken can use it there, who want to wait can wait. What is so wrong in all this? Do you think this is unfair? Do you think this is selfish? This is equal! This is the most equal thing they can do!

This is a huge upgrade as it becomes a mythic of the player’s choice. Like I said, the current way is no different how it is for you versus most other players on any egg. You are NOT at an unfair disadvantage here by the giveaway.
