the devs sais before it was in mid july. now most people in chat think it got pushed back to late july or august
Should be within a week or so, no guarantees though.
This whole process should change,
Is there any harm in telling the exact date of release?
If not exact then some time window like they can call it 16 July / 18 July update will be released.
It’s just the wait is the only thing we can do, if we know for certain when it’s coming we will shut up about asking again & again about it,
Even if it gets late they can tell us about it??
It’s called productive conversation.
Yes, there absolutely is harm in telling the exact date of release. What if there is a gamebreaking bug? Then they get community backlash(which we really don’t need more of, given how unfortunately the community treats the devs,) and they still have to delay it past the date.
Development can be a randomly volatile process. Almost all of the time things don’t go as planned.
They released the last update during Hordes, too. Just sayin’
You can’t deny the fact everyone make mistakes, Devs too.
Why do you think so much backlash happens if something goes wrong?
[ I’m not hatin on Devs, period ]
We know the gems deals & loads of new legends are priorities,
New legends are released, and mostly 1 out of 2 or more is asked to be buffed!
Moji / Blackbeast , Stratus / Utopion , ankou / owl , magma / Skeleton sharks ,
trivinthian / tagosenshi- gyomurai
PvP/ UC bugs
They shared about server maintenance in the news and we loved they shared it early on.
Then why can’t there be a definitive news on update release ?
If something really happens I’m very sure the response by Devs will be immediate and they can ask for our patience. & I will defend Devs even if backlash happens !!
We love what Devs do but we all know it’s a business .
Devs do not enough thats the Problem…
Yeah, but the issue is that everyone hates on dev mistakes. They screw up, and all the sudden the community is like “dead game”. Lol.
It’s happened before, and I haven’t seen new community sentiment that has suggested otherwise.
If you actually look at the workload, then you’ll notice that they are doing their best to do as much as possible.
Nothing wrong giving an exact date when update is coming. Other companies with bigger games can do It. Nothing to do with how much or workload one is doing. Game is about the customers and keeping them intrigued.
I actually agree that they shouldn’t give an exact date as they might receive delays. Mid july is good enough, as long as they communicate delays.
Regarding the devs work, I too feel like they don’t do enough. I mean there are some clear bugs in the game, and while I understand that it might take some time to fix them, from what I read in the forum it doesn’t seem like like they might not even know of them, and in that case some testing is necessary.
Plus the balance of some monsters is so obviously problematic that I’m not even sure it’s not done on purpose to make people hatch, which would be pretty disturbing. I’m not sure about this though.
It’s happened time and time again. Just look here where an update is just “possibly” delayed a bit and you yourself are complaining and demanding Devs come let us know what’s going on. Then we have other posts like “Devs do not enough” and things. People are always ready to flood the internet with hate in gaming communities if anything goes wrong and the simple truth with the updates is there will be many unexpected delays with certain bits not quite being ready or newly created bugs taking a long time to deal with.
It’s much easier when you have a bigger company because you can get more manpower involved when something is risking being delayed. You’ll have people doing work on other things which you can bring over to get an update released in time. They’ll probably also have the resources to bring in extra contractors if later releases will be delayed (as might happen if they keep pulling people onto the current releases).
I think the best scenario is they say “next update early-mid a month” then we assume it will be end of that month. Expect things to be a couple of weeks after they say and a little more if they come to the forum to say they’re packing more into the update.
Yeah I agree maybe the full attention isn’t on neo monster as it used to be. But forgive me if I’m wrong we aren’t expected much in game updates just a few changes to monsters and the toggle for ss.
I should say that it’s very hard to define a specific date for stuff like this, partially because often the deadlines are set when the work is due to be finished and don’t take into account bugfixing, app store making you wait for approval for ages, stuff like that.
Most big companies give a date that’s waaaay back from when they actually finish so they don’t have to push it back later.
A little info about update will suffice, I ask nothing more from devs. That’s all
They’ve done many system performance improvements for PvP so it runs faster and changed the way matchmaking works as well as possibly changes to other events, foundations of additional events added in (idk), new monsters added and probably some minor bug fixes. I don’t really know for sure but if you’re thinking it’s not much you’re probably mistaken about the amount of work going into things. If something is delayed there’ll be a reason and it won’t just be “sorry we went on holiday for a week”.
I was thinking this too. They say everything will come out far later than they expect, they could even release lots of things early I bet. The Devs here seem over ambitious with their expected release dates. The Devs are like those big companies in the way how monsters are designed and often put into the game files many months before they actually come out in the game. They could accurately tell us the release dates of monsters, but not updates.
Please let us not dwelve into PVP. We been asking for it to become permanent for so long i don’t even want to start there tbh.
And it’s not the users fault that every new monster that gets released is buggy that it takes another update to make them right.
I thought the next game was pretty much the long awaited permanent PVP
Yeah it is… But who knows when that will drop
