How can you ask for compensation for something so simple that has already been resolved? Your account wasn’t in danger, you didn’t lose anything valuable, and it didn’t affect your in-game experience.
I faced similar bug once after the last update. Pressing that button hatched the egg. That’s why I haven’t reported that.
This sounds like a display lag issue, most likely caused by the internet connection.
It should fix itself after a while, or after restarting the app.
