I think you should be happy about getting a free Hazuki. I would be! The begrudgement is only jealousy amplified by the fact that you’re a prominent member of the community.
I agree that the number of mythics is the most important part. It’s also easier to fix because there’s only one featured in the egg.
But how about the legendaries? They were messed up too! The Goliath banner has Revenarchion and Torazou. The Rozaliz egg has Angelion and Emeraldeus. Let’s say theoretically that I hatch for Revenarchion but get an Emeraldeus instead. Then I get Torazou as compensation, how am I supposed to know that I was supposed to get Torazou and not Revenarchion? They have the same odds.
After making a mistake after a mistake, yes. He did say a few times “transparency” i believe, but the way I interpreted it wasn’t just for this specific scenario, but to the future too
Even if it’s not exactly how the code works that it’s always going to be two legendaries paired like that, it makes sense to do a consistent conversion and VKC explained it here. So does that satisfy you?
Indeed. Trust is the most important element here and since the company messed up, that should be the focus instead of thinking about people who “might have exploited”.
It might be, it might not be, we don’t have access to that info. I only see the picture of the banner and the hatching odds. I want to trust what VKC says but it’s harder when stuff like this happens.
When you don’t read our explanations, it does indeed make it tough to understand what we’re saying @Killerdog
I’d like to reiterate that there is strong sentiment among forum users that see exactly where @Coltraz and I are coming from. @Dev_VKC made a comment as to what users would think, and most of what I’ve seen that is genuine actually sees our point.
I went back to re-read your posts and their replies. I remembered it all correctly.
VKC said the following to your main point…
You then continued to press the issue and he no longer replied to you. I decided to elaborate things in a logical way. Here’s where I repeated that…
I’m not sure how you’re trying to spin things a different way or claim there’s a “strong sentiment” because a couple of other people liked your posts. You were pretty well compensated for your participation in a bugged egg banner and it’s incredibly unlikely they’re going to undo the compensation they’ve done in order to act on it in a different way (refunding the gems), especially since the Goliatherion egg banner is no longer active.
So what’s your actual end goal here and is your sticking point really about how you hatched until pity and you wouldn’t have done that if it wasn’t bugged?
Coltraz and I have made our point very clearly in this thread multiple times and no amount of mental gymnastics you do is going to get you past your own bias here, so I’m not going to keep restating it. Thanks for your super valuable input as always
it is true if you knew that the baner had an error why burn all gems in? and even so received a good reward as compensation if someone take advantage of a bug that this prepared for the consequences for the next in the first report of bug the best will be block baner until not check / correct. and do the same from this time
I will repeat my point that if there’s a bug found then the company should take every responsibility doesn’t matter how many players exploited the bug. If that bug has given extremely significant advantage to those exploiters than it’s devs responsibility to adequately compensate non exploiters, they shouldn’t have any reason to punish those who exploited a bug
I too would agree with you that the compensation was fairly decent but don’t you think if I could check exactly what I hatched let’s say a section where I could see how many gems I spent and where I spent those it should be a fairly straightforward to implement because as someone pointed out the compensation was probably done manually it wasn’t automated that will explain why I got my monsters in two separate batches maybe @Dev_VKC would confirm my assumption
They are asking for refund because the odds of hatching limited myths and legends were definitely off and they compensate only for limited monster. You can see in @Coltraz video that he only got one rozaliz and 4 standard pool myths in a row.
Thats just bad luck I believe, i rolled for it too and got two standard mythics but decided to stop when i knew the banner was bugged
People just create conspiracy theories, to get the gems back, tbh since i returned to the game last year this was the biggest compensation i have seen so far, players got 2 mythics for the price of 1
If that’s true then tell devs to release a statement saying that the odds of that banner was same as any other active. I won’t say a thing about this matter anymore.
We also went to the pity timer when we otherwise wouldn’t have had to. And I have no way of knowing if I received the right amount of monsters back.
The decision was made for us that we’d rather lose everything and keep what we weren’t rolling for, as opposed to losing what we didn’t want in return for our gems that were unknowingly being burned on an impossibility.
Look at it from a positive prospective, players get there mythics nerfed after month without compensation, changing the monster design if we knew that a nerf would happen we would not have rolled for it
Doesn’t this sound familiar, at least be happy you got some sort of compensation instead of the usual 2 gems
These people knowing tried to take advantage of bugged banner and now they act as budhha. They shouldn’t be refunded.
"COLTRAZ WHO CLAIMS HE KNOW EVERYTHING HOW CAN HE DIDN’T NOTICE MINOR THING DURING HATCHING " so yeah be happy at least you guys got 2 mythic in place of 1. Don’t be greedy.
