I was wandering who the top players in this game are?
Maybe we will find out when ppv arrives. There must be a multitude of people who play but don’t join forums.
There are plenty of players myself included that probably could have done a lot better in events but just didn’t care. I think I only really tried on ultimate challenges because it didn’t feel like a grind and got top 50 easily. I think this will bring a lot more out of people and may not be as easy to predict as lochi thinks.
You’ve seen how people build teams for pve and I agree maybe that’s an indicator that they won’t be good in pvp but we will see
Well we will see, there’s people far more knowledgeable than me at team building.
I imagine there will be an early meta before it gets countered and things settle down. Hopefully there will be enough to have multiple builds not just one that is overpowered.
is there any place where we can read the updates specifically to PVP yet? like how they’ve fixed the skip turn issue etc?
Yeah it will be balanced plus a lot of monsters are useable plus we will have tiers based on skill match ups
All in all it will be a lot fairer and more fun

In the update they said they have a fix for people trying to make people quit.
From the previous beta pvp shomy is the best he has the most skill I can name quite a few other really good players scruffi, alcurd, mophiese, jralthouse, Buckingham they are ones that have a lot of skill and will be top tier players and others if iceborn comes back he will be good as well as lusolas These guys are worthy of being elite fighters The biggest change will be poison is very good in pvp so a lot of players will get a chance But regardless I can already guess who the top 10 players are at the moment looking at all forums and team building skills and yes there are a few other forums this game is massive

I’m aware they stated that things were fixed. Just not how they are fixed… preparing a PVP strategy is hard when you’re unsure how all the mechanics are going to work :]
I have feelings it will have big differs between low s and high s, since its have single server for worldwide like coc maybe

I believe the top 10 in pvp are on this list but there are also some on this list you won’t see at all as their strategies won’t work so well in pvp
It pretty much stops endless battles without removing skipping
So it works out like I skip you skip I can’t skip you can’t skip and repeat
I think this way of preventing eternal skipping is fair, didn’t think of it.
The best players (in the previous online events/challenges) are those who have a crown on their picture, indicating they’ve been in the top 50.

For real though like 80% of the best players post on this forum regularly, so if you look around and see which names keep popping up you’ll probably have a reasonably accurate list.
I still stand by shomy being the best and jral and those I mentioned but pvp will see a lot of players that dos not get higher in challenges win a lot more I am hoping we get some good prizes for the pvp tournaments

All I can say is pvp will be a free for all so many combos and teams eventually it will balance out and I am curious to what teams do the best
