The event is ending soon got top 50 so I’m happy not much point completing the league as the main prizes aren’t that good and I would be spending that much anyway on gems ticket refills

If they gave you 50 gems for first place then I would finish it

No need for one at the moment when I get the ingredients il add it to my team but haven’t figured out what to replace with it I have never been taken down to a single monster with this team
But I might replace flarevern with the last biter but not sure yet
It’s a toss up between flarevern or nebolrinix

I’ve had dragaia pull me out of a couple of situations, but I was kinda expecting it, cause really my team is still pretty experimental, and I’m kinda filling some gaps with replacements for stuff that isn’t fully evolved yet.

I kinda wanted to put it through the paces and get used to it though. One thing this tournament is good for is letting you know what most people have or don’t have, and how to tweak your lineup accordingly.

Saw a guy on league 18 with just god feather and another with just 3, god feather, a healer /give turn , and accelerate team + stun bomb

I was happy to claim 93rd although by no means do I consider myself to be a “good” player. Although my hindsight is always 20/20… I’m decent at theory crafting I guess.

The best team I had vs was a sacrifice team it has harder to take down then I first thought and made me reconsider my first 4 line up

Wow so the person only used the last biter suprised they even got past the first round
A last biter should only ever be used as a backup to help you get the edge at the end of the battle when most threats are gone

That’s actually hilarious. Although having said that up to a point it might be quite effective, since the majority of teams are not that strong.

Did you guys ever face the teams with four Demolitron esque (lightning, blizzard, earth too) starters which given their fast speed, got four ultra alls out before you could move which at teh higher levels basically wiped out the front line

I once had my frontline wiped out by 3 ultra all moves, so yeah i can relate.

The thing with these tower tournaments is that they buff up the stats so much it’s hard to tell when PVP happens what tactics would work well.

I like using an assisted wave front line with Cryo, Warca, and Hydro (accelerate team too) backed with Espa but against the buffed AI it literally did nothing… hence had to chance strategy to the only one that works which is time based or bloodfury / thirst. Hopefully PVP is no buffing when these guys should be able to come into their own…
