+Ally damage

Hi guys relatively new player here but there’s one aspect I am not sure of…

When an ability says X damage + x% ally damage. 

Does that mean for every ally of the same element in your entire line up my monster will hit more?

or

The allies in your current group (your monster + 2 others) determines the damage?

If it were the whole line-up it would be too OP

Plus first one if you summon the right element.

Same as army move.
