A lot of epics have use and in the first 1-2 years of the game it was common to see them in teams to keep the team cost down (later legendaries became a lot better and you wanted to save all your cost for them so kept cost down with a handful of super epics and a Rockoid, Moji or otherwise).
People use the assisted hit all monsters with Canishogun, otherwise not.
Yetikong has occasionally been used by people for OoO, especially in PvE.
The stun immune stun bombers were commonly used everywhere in teams, even in some front lines, long ago.
The protector epics were very commonly used as cheaper versions of the super epic protectors, but also sometimes the auto-protect ones.
Basically, we don’t see many of these around anymore but long ago we did. I think the only ones that didn’t see use at any time were the: survivors, timestrikers, poison eaters, dreamhunters, desperate biters, throwers and megabombers. However, the poison eaters have recently been buffed a huge amount so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them getting used (I’ve used Seaviper effectively in a team just recently).

The poison ones actually have a place in links teams now. And tbh 4 star stun bombers are NEVER gonna not have the ability to turn the game around.

I remember seeing player use the Throw/Bloodcrave Epics from time to time as they were cheap and effective sweepers, as well as the ones with Sacrifice Summon for the sake of generating extra rocks. But the ones that I’ve never seen get used are the Give Turn/Dreamhunt ones and the Create Duplicate/Desperate Bite ones.
Speaking of which, the Create Duplicate/Stun Revenge Epics are among the best of the bunch imo.

Sentiguard has saved me in so many PvE games it’s not even funny. The CPU just doesnt know how to deal with it and the clones unless Valzareign is on the board.

I tried to use a sleep bomb epic in fl, so my lavaronix can charge its 400sec megabomb and my warca can use its 400sec novablast.

- Not strictly epic but the moment 1-3 stars were allowed to be potted I used a Haniwel front line for a while. Also if you need stun protection, the epic protectors are not too far away from their SE counter parts.
