Lol, I want to fight with monsters in this game… not sexualised anime girls that look pretty child-like. The other art designs are infinitely more interesting and cool than waifu. And why should it even matter about someone’s sexual preference? Are you really playing a game to be attracted to the characters in it?? There are billions of women out there to be attracted to

Edit: just so we’re clear, I don’t have anything against people who have a fascination for these 2d designs. We all have our own preferences. Mine just lean towards real life humans.

Infinitely agree. Give me Hellfox, Zhulong, Dolphins, Natur etc all day long over what collectively looks like some sort of overly sexualised PE class.
Devs did their experiment a while back, but everyone chose based on the movesets so it didn’t really indicate people’s feelings on the designs much

Its just that a lot of us started playing a different game, and art wise thr waifus seem out of place. It’s as if the next pokemon generation suddenly introduced catchable anime girls. No issue if you like that sort of thing. It’s just not for everyone
