Sorry it’s hard to remember who’s who across platforms. Thanks for the thoughts. I agree Vivienne sits at the top, she’s ridiculous. I think it’s insane how they originally released her.
How do you think Mai and Kasumi are best used?
Emberelle I’m basically keeping an eye on her to get a feel for how she plays in PvP.
Strange. I’ve heard something like this from many people but always found the complete opposite when I use her. Any place I put her, as long as it’s done with some thought, she performs super well and often heavily shuts down the opponent if they don’t remove her. I find her to be one of the best stun protection monsters.
In my opinion I have try both in so many different ways but here is an example of the best result that I was able get out they 2 along with the Beast combo (top 7 last Season) if you add Whitara to that would be even better but limitations list didn’t allow me
Mai is an excellent option for front line, her speed her move set is just good against the actual meta, taking care of Grieretus, Lili & Lotus, fast monster, etc
Kasumi for me is the perfect pause to the game, believe it or not she was able to give so much control along help by Rinmu ofc, but her defense buff is insane, and the jervos are just great in a meta full of vengeance.
Again I know the team over all have the actual meta and even with out Mai and Kasumi work, but they 2 were great for me.
In previous season I have try before to use more of her Sleep Skills, which are insane 75% chance with out Mai on the field, 100% with her, then you can kill sleep monsters and get turn right there, but again in this current meta with so much time frezz, and poison, is not so effective
Yeah Mai alongside other high speed sweepers like Arbustodon, Agent M, Prixis, Berry in the FL does do nicely. Although I’m surprised you didn’t have a hard time with stun with that team!
Kasumi’s Jerbos paying off is good to hear. Did you not find the damage to be a bit too low? Or did you use the fan service quite a bit?
By the looks of it, you weren’t trying to play them alongside each other. You just generally had the storm beasts with the Jerbo stuff going on and occasionally both would be on the battlefield together. That leads me to think that what you’re telling me is Mai is basically just a good FL monster for teams that want a high speed sweeper and Kasumi is generically very strong, particularly with synergy like adding extra monsters to your team and Rinmu to punish them killing the Jerbos. Would that be fair to say or do you think there’s more nuance to it?
Kasumi has always been one of the most interesting monsters to me. Its moveset + insomnia + defence buff seems crazy but the Jerbos add complication and it’s hard to figure out whether they’re just too clunky they hold her back or if they’re rarely an issue.
Yes, I didn’t worry about stun at all, since after Rinmu’s entrance the game balanced very well, actually you’re right Mai is a very good option for front line, she’s always going to do a good job, but she doesn’t need Kasumi, and applies to the opposite also Kasumi doesn’t need Mai to do a good job, regarding what you say, for me the jervos do very good damage, capable of doing almost 3k of damage without the Fanservice using the skill where they don’t die, and well with the Fanservice kills everything, in the other hand you have the ability where they sacrifice themselves, that kills almost all the mythical without the Fanservice and well with Fanservice kills everything, to put it in perspective, without FanService a jervo can kill Astra without Life buff, it’s RNG,
Regarding what you say about being contradictory the sleep skills with respect to the jervos poisoning the enemies, that’s why I tell you that I don’t play to sleep with Kasumi, since the moment she gets turn I use direct Fanservice, in one way or another it will torment the opponent. To use sleep I need to be winning the match so good, that I just want to sleep everybody and secure the game, and is true that sometimes you need to use the other habilites to help your team, which both are really good given she is low speed you can kill a lote of monsters, and of course kill a hold ground and another monster is great to, she have so many ways to play that for me she is never going to be a dead slot, and you need to give priority to kill her otherwise she is going to make you go true hell with the jervos.
I strongly disagree with the idea that Devilaus is better than Aethereon, who, after receiving a buff, became somewhat better than he is now because he is a decent support.
I have been using it for several seasons, which allowed me to achieve moderately high rankings.
They are good but its a very well known bug and not sure what causes it, i think its when you go up against another kasumi and mai, but i would have to say there are better options at the moment
While there are still a lot of stun counter monsters out there, I think she retains her value well because she is still the most versatile of them all, even today, at least in my opinion.
Both I had pretty low. Aethereon takes too long to get going whereas deviladus + lemon and other comboes with her typically does better than Aethereon ones imo
am pretty sure that others have encountered this bug before, i believe it occurs when both players have mai or kasumi. Its definitely not connection issue as a reconnect does not trigger the bug
