Who wins?

I disagree. I don’t see how player 1 should be able to beat Novem + Ashterios. Presumably Scarleguard does stun killer on Botan at the start, but they can only waste an attack with Megalo and Leo won’t do anything for a bit. So player 2 has some time to take control with their setup. Easy option is swift knockback Cynthia then they have time for the swift elem accelerate → swift faststrike Motor → give turn → link bloodbite Padrinorca. What’s player 1 doing from there? They have a Scarleguard on 1 kill with no targets, Megalo with no kill and needing to line up sonic strike, a Leo that needs more time to charge and an Onigeist that’s useless unless a teammate dies (which none will, because it will be killed first). Player 2 just needs to ignore those monsters and kill the new monster as it enters the battlefield each time. They should be able to sweep through super easily and they just need to be careful to not let Megalo sonic strike anything (can use Novem’s give turn to stop this).

Player 1’s team relies on getting into a trading battle, where their token disruption slows the enemy team down drastically so they can win the race. Their team notably has no significant stun protection, sleep protection, no way to remove the three potential dead weight monsters at the front (Scarle, Megalo, Motor) until 9th slot and no ways to take control / swing a battle besides token disruption and an Onigeist + Runedragon combo in the middle (which is unlikely to work due to the dead weight that will probably be around from earlier meaning the opponent can more easily prioritise the Onigeist immediately).

P.S. No disrespect meant to anyone, just heavily analysing what I see.

Massive disrespect to @EBO and @EMI_Eklypz, team 2 wins if the player has a brain. The lack of said brain would be why the battle could turn out differently in practice. Team 2 has the early game advantage and overpowers the rest even with the opposing tokens + sleep.

You are right but lucky sleep and few his wrong moves also doomgoo "the killing machine"let me to victory

@101X31 I can remember your team, it totally counters my FL. Send me friend request if you like to.

@NMEduck Massiv disrespect? Lol, as far as I can see Eklypz and me didn’t even chose the same winning team. And always remember, you’re a permanent top 1-3 player, players like me don’t have the strategic ability by far to analyze strategy at your level :muscle: and never will be.

Sure :four_leaf_clover:

you clearly need me to teach u how to play pvp one day. XD

you don’t even know thier names. how can i trust you?

what are your credentials?

Hahaha whoops I always get the names Astrogolem and Ashterios the wrong way around! Corrected it now.

Don’t sweat it. Duck waited for me to post the analysis of how the battle should play out then claim he’s got a big brain because he knows how to read

Who wins?

team 2 has Staticsphere . guaranteed victory.

Team 2

Well I totally agree with KD lol, team 1 literally has nothing that can hold up against ashterios and novomdomina. whiththe fl the one thing that will work in team 1 is scarle who can one shot botan, but apart from that nothing else.
Megalo is useless because nothing is in his drift for Sonic strike, Leo must be charged to be viable and Cynthia will be pushed back by drag. In addition, by obtaining his turn Novem can immediately use his SS then target megalomaniac and motor, then ashterios waits for orca to be able to put faststrike on him. I don’t need to specify that sleep has no impact with an Ashterios +9 (31tu purification and 44 bloodbite) he can literally have fun letting onigiest summoned onigo just to charge dragulus and use the purification just After. He has goch in support like sweeping (unreliable because he doesn’t do anything extraordinary without his SS) he has three piercing monsters I don’t see the problem with doomgoo. Duck said that team 1 wins if the player uses his brain and well that’s even more true for team 2. I guess he made mistakes thinking the fight was in the pocket

But hey, a fight is never set in stone; a weaker team can’t beat a weaker team well. As an example today we had the chance to see during a Prem stream on Discord a fight of him against Coltraz where he was the big loser in history but he played well and won a great victory. This was not without taking into account a little RNG and some inconsistencies at Coltraz which cost him dearly. But if we came with both teams I bet everyone would have said that the Coltraz team wins.

My guess is team 2. The DR value looks like it’s going to pay off but it’s hard to figure out how the match will play out, especially because team 2 is very passive/situational after the start. The front 5 also really do not synergise with the DR monsters behind since the opponent gets free shields on their monsters!

The team basically marks the player as quite a newbie where they’ve got a cool FL concept but otherwise resort to spamming DR. That makes me guess they probably don’t play very well, so the match could’ve easily gone to team 1 instead.

@NMEduck This one is for you. Let me know how you think it goes (some proper detail on your thoughts, not just who wins and by how much).

team 1 should win because team 2 is using appallingrexus. thats all the detail required.
