The icon is only to tell you they are ingredients not monsters.

They are still monsters, you can catch them, but they are pure ingredient monsters and unplayable, unless revived or mirrored. Moji or Rockoid are also possible ingredient monsters, but they are normal monsters for most cases.
Thank god for the berry icon i dont know what i would have done without it

Gotta do that now that they’re charging same for legendaries and ingredients, ppl might confuse them😂
