What do you think is the most powerful strategy in Evertale and why do you think so?
Stun?
Burn?
Sleep?
Poison?
Stealth?
Etc?
Just curious what the group consensus is on this

I think fire only because it’s fast and it continues to damage u over time

Definitely sleep. Targets can’t do anything, massive damage and if you time your passes right it has the most benefit strategically
Burn is the best. Sleep is great but it’s too costly pointwise in battle. Burn you can just ignite and sweep. Plus some of the burn units have burning focus which protects them from stun. Plus rashanar paired with any fire team takes it to the next level with his burning swarm thing.

Astrid(fire version) to win. To tell you exactly astrid+give a turn unit. It is the Best strategy. If u don’t have Astrid, than dream combo is also the Best. Than goes poison. Than goes thunder which is the most useless because it has to run after all the other combos. Than goes stealth because there are too little ssr units But it is not the weakest. To tell you the truth i find thunder the most weak combo. Fire is immune to thunder. Poison, dream and stealth kill first and u have to run after them with your timestrikes. But i do play for thunder because random gave me Finn… My rating is Burn(Astrid OP), dream, poison, thunder and stealth(because of the amount of ssr units). Definitely sleep combined with charging moves. Once they are charged it’s hard to stop. For fire you need a good pool of characters which the majority of us wont have
Based on average character pools I would rate this the strongest combo

I think blood nova team would be in top 4 atleast along with survival team because nova also provides for healing as well as high damage at low mana cost.

But epic seven and sds gc smash them both out of the park
I also think that thunder is most useless strategy and you should avoid it at all costs.I have a level 80 orchachron(thunder monster something) and he is bloody useless SSR.Fire team with burning focus will just absolutely ignore stuns like it’s nothing and other teams can just keep a stun absorb team mate around their best heroes.What can be more useless than having a ability which uses 4 mana(triumph stun) and then again uses 2 mana(time strike) and is absolutely ignored like it’s nothing? Lol
And it’s like for all stun heroes.
So my advice-avoid stun strategies.
Fire is best for me too along with sleep.
Second - sacrificial team.
Third - poison.
Fourth - survival team.
Fifth - stealth.(cause there are not many heroes as pointed out)
