I’m absolutely certain that awakening a Mythic item is more expensive these days; it’s becoming increasingly difficult lately. The number of gems you have to spend on a fragment is unbelievable. I spent 2000 gems on the Vivienne banner and only got her once. Some people are incredibly lucky to awaken, but we can’t focus on that because it’s a very small group of people who succeed. I’m sure the RNG is intentional. We’ve had quite a few changes; now I ask, are they for better or for worse?

In the banners, is the final pull of the pity counter guaranteed to be the featured mythic of that banner, or is it a random mythic?
Also, I’d like to clarify how the pity counter works when using paid gems. For example:

  • Do paid gems count the same as free gems toward the pity meter?
  • And when the pity is reached, does the guaranteed egg always contain the featured mythic, or can it be any mythic egg from the general pool?

I’m asking because I want to understand exactly how the system works when saving up for mythic eggs and planning around the pity threshold.

Overall it took 14 paid and 7 normal bringing the total to 21 packs, which is equivalent to 840 gems

or 140 paid and 280 free
