Hey everyone! I’ve been playing for almost 150 days now. I played Neo Monsters years ago when it was still a relatively new game (before all the half-naked “monsters” appeared… ). With that said, I’m still a huge fan of the game, and it perfectly fits my needs as a casual player.
My strategy was to spend a few gems on one of the festival banners early on to get a decent starting lineup, and from there, I saved up (using shrines too) for the 9th anniversary to get the best possible value for my gems.
At this point, I feel I’ve built a solid foundation of monsters to focus on, and I’m currently at HR 116.
I’d really appreciate some help and tips on which monsters I should prioritize for evolution to build a strong PvE team, as well as any PvP potential if it’s there.
If anyone has team ideas based on the monsters I have, please share! I’m struggling with my current lineup (first picture) and the overall balance. I don’t feel like I’m maximizing my monsters’ potential, and I probably need to add more protection.

I would say your next evo should be Rune. It will fit your shadow theme well and the entrance adding control combined with sweeping potential that’s not reliant on sleep will fit your team well.
Having said that, I think Froggie’s poison revenge in your FL is going to conflict with your sleep follow up a lot, so I’d rethink the positioning If I were you
Thanks for the feedback, @LemonSqueezy! I made some changes based on your great suggestions and added a few ideas of my own as well. I decided to remove Demontoad entirely. I’ll miss the enrage on Nova, but hopefully, it will still be able to do some sweeping. What do you think of the rework? And are there any other monsters you’d recommend to improve the current team?
the first three are better in PvP but have some ability in PvE too.
wraithhost is pretty balanced and decent in both PvP and PvE - solid option for both.
the last three are mainly PvE monsters.
I know that some people may disagree but having auro in you FL is the best possible choice. Ik that it’s not possible in your lineup so maybe have auro as one of the earlier mons? The specialty of Auro is its heal reargaurd move. That basically would allow you to replay your mythics.
Even Cythia (?) {The quick draw mythic} is usually played early on for maximum utility.
All in all, I think you should just do what you feel is most comfortable. You have Carmilla. What more could you ask for?

Runedragon, Ldiefaeth and Tortogeist are on my current todo list. For future builds, I’ll definitely work on Bloomeluga and Wraithhost as well. Yesterday, I played PvP against someone who used “Sin Punishment” on Ammityrant really effectively, so that is also worth looking into.

I completely agree with your point about the placement of Aurodragon - I still need to figure out where it’s best used. I just got it recently with the neo ticket lite from the 9th anniversary, so it’s still pretty new to me. I’ll play around with moving it closer to the start. Who knows, maybe I need a different FL. I appreciate the ideas, it gives me stuff to think about and try out
And that’s even better! It’s all about having fun! Some ppl out here have made some OP combos over the years. I am sadly not all that good when it comes to team building (especially PvP). I am sure you’ll do better!

Also, I just went through your team again. Your 3 unevolved mythics are crazy good too. Especially with all the new waifus, Voidress is going to be great in PvP. Excaliburdragon was my choice last year. I still use it in my team. Its great in PvE due to its healing light and stun pulse. With time, its crescendo attacks are lethal to buffed enemies.
Ldiefaeth is a great leggie. Especially if you have a holy and shadow mon along with it.
Carapasca is the GOAT. Its the best SE according to me.
You should prolly evolve these mons and have fun with their potential synergies.
Btw, you see monster shop with 6* tickets, i’ve never made a single purchase (and i have 14 tickets) so everything is at 50% off and also i still didn’t used my NEO ticket.
As you seem like a beginner Plume or Kirina can be considered. Voidress is worth considering too. Evolve Galvbane and try to get get Galvbishamon,its amazing.
You can run Canishogun with some APs.
About the starters, i’m going to make them all instead bc im at 11 days to get the last starskie for chronox and since i already got all the stellarskies, i’m going to make Chronozillion.

I’ve played neo monster before and I quit and started a new account this one around April I need some help with team building(also i rerolled for this acc for abt 1 month cuz im addicted to rerolling esp in gacha games pls dont mistake it for a gambling addiction… i dont have a gambling addiction)
Buy as must from shop if you have 10 6* tickets and evolve some useful as monsters such as flame,holy and water one’s. Put them with Poseidon(ss active) along with vixenblade and any other legendary u think is good except beast type and water element. Just use one on one with vixen blade first, place a purifier like oniblade on 5th spot (uses purifying stealth on the other useful mons) and place carmilla somewhere near 6-7th place cuz I think she is vulnerable to payback killers near front line, and if you have any good beast/water element monsters that u want to use then place them after 9th spot.
Im not a pro player I’m hr 61 myself but seeing noone was helping so I thought my advice might help a little and I’m a fellow reroll addict myself, sometimes I think I get more dopamine when I’m rerolling rather than playing a old account haha, rerolled in nearly 1k+ accounts even this anniversary the reroll accounts number would be somehwere between 100-130. My best one so far was this account, got 1 mythic and 2 legendary with 12 gems. I gave this account to someone else who was in a need for luck, now he is hr 85 and I’m still 61

Thanks for the advice, i brute forced my way or just used trial and error to get through most of the game. But later on monsters are ridiculously buffed up. Rerolling is truly addicting even now i reroll for acc every now and then.
1st chary, 2nd strungeonidas 3rd aurodragon ,4thsatomi(for pvp), otherwise that dual slayerbane holy dragon on 4th place,
Evolve that cat superepic and that fire element spike super epic on 2nd row 3rd place
And try to get either ankoudragon or ravenarcheion from featured egg banners, both of them should be there till tomorrow!
i basically keep a aquatic type levathan(poison skill set)(aquatic type)for union attack with carpedo then there is shadowwyrm for sleeper killer and protector killer with additional bloodthrust auro dragon for stealth and lifeflip freind to shadowwyrm(best attack and highest hp with speed in my team so i prioritise him)then for stunning intrance i keep electicheetah and timestrike benifit, protector killer also then my poison batch enters with charybdia ,floraslash and millipyre(poison storm) then comes spikerflame for the resucing taunt and heal ally(five times)for my poison batch to survive (they dont have much hp but poison siphon of floraslash helps maintain stability then for ending things i have slayerbane to counter high damage dealing monsters in enemy i use bright scale for that then i have vindrake for aquatic type killer and lizard type killer with poison storm entrance and vindrake rahodite for beast type killing with exorcism and beast hunter having low cd with fissoldier olivine for retribution ond solo double timestrike and just to fullfill the cost a protector in last(expecting no protector killer)it has survivor on it so if lucky can use it to end
i tried to get what you said but got leoaxe and shieldwyrm as legendary instead and i tried die hard for what you said like i opened 4packs but didnt got the legendary you said or tenguko the mythic
