In the last UC I wanted a limit where you could get the top prize & then just stop so it’s good that’s the case here. I think the 15 ticket cost is great because it makes it harder to just keep escaping until you find a stunnable opponent you like the look of.
For Everyone saying you can’t finish the event in the time it takes tickets to refill I would be amazed if more than 5% of people get past floor 100. I know that’s my target if it gets as difficult as I think it will.

There is a lot they could’ve done to prevent that though in UC, like having them same teams generated for everyone at every floor, and it will keep the same team there like the gatekeepers do. Or even add a 30 minute to hour long delay every time you run. I know there are way more things that can be done in UC they haven’t implemented. But they acknowledged a big problem was people running from battles so maybe they will get it fixed.
Getting to the first legendary potion I’d be happy. Even floor 70 offers a second rare gem. So prizes to be had in the time alotted. If it scales like uc it will be a pain, but it only goes to 150, and in UC that’s barely the point I have to implement my UC strats, so we will see

Sorry but did anyone forget that there are FREE gems when you get to certain floors? There are 8 free gems before floor(wins) 150. That’s about 40 extra wins for those who are upper level (I’m at rank 89 right now so my tickets are 86 at max). And if I calculated correctly, max floor will be around 100- 110 without the use of gems.
Either you keep the gems and spin on festival or you use them for the cool new circular colorful ball. Give and take. You cannot have best of both.
Of course that depends on the difficulty of the last couple of floors. If it’s going to be as troubling as the higher stages of the Ultimate Challenge, then I’d rather keep em
If there is no serious buffing then this is the perfect event for lower tier - because in UC you HAVE to have the right monsters in this you just have to invest the time and MAYBE a few gems which they give you for free in the event.
Also - the event is almost twice as long as normal event AND the tickets are twice as much as well. Seems like an even trade, they basically made it if you WANT IT BAD then put the time in lower tier lol
I am lazy tho and will try for first rare gem and stop prolly.

When the game first opened, there was an event like this called the tower but it went 300 floors. It was 8 tickets a pop. So now I figure, half the floors, almost double the cost is relatively similar to before. There was a lot of complaints about it being p2w before, and it seems it’s about back to the same thing. But at least we have 12 days for an event lol. Lusolas was about the only one that actually went to 300 floors before. Most stopped at 180 or so. At least the prizes are better this time around. Looking forward to adding a ++ on my gaiawolf.
Except this time it is possible to get through 2/3 of the floors without spending money.
Wasn’t the caniswyrm event similar ? Where you had to fight every floor.
It was the exact same event, but with tickets costing half xD. And I believe the opponents were more buffed than here, but maybe I’m wrong, the Caniswyrm challenge was long ago.
At the higher floors we will be encountering the best teams, so teams with lots of legendary. But because it’s AI controlled, they will not be that hard to beat. Give turn will not be used, instead the monster will just do their own AoE. Skipping turns will not be used, monsters on hold ground will be killed by first monster instead of one able to trigger bloodcrave/ thirst/ fury, etc. If I look at one of my own teams, I can imagine AI messing up a lot. So even lower tier with decent strategy should be able to win from those ‘best’ teams.
It will be like a super challenge battle but without 2 or more times the same monster (2x aegis…), limited to max cost and without buff on the newest monsters.
Honestly those last 50 floors don’t seem worth spending gems to get to. Floor 100

Yeah, I’m guessing it’s gonna take all 5 for one spin. 8 gems in this event to be won, which is a spin and a half and more than likely an epic, or in my case 48 more battles. It’s definitely worth it in my view
