I’ve been playing the event since it stared
And reached lvl 92 today while starting to struggle abit
Now almost 60 more wins to reach 150 which I won’t be able to do,
150 win isn’t too much to ask for 3 rare gems
With 60 wins in IC you can get 2 rare
And for this event you need 150 win
150×15=2250 ticket
So 2250×10=22500 minutes to wait
Its too much
This thread gets posted every SOTF. The way to do it is put yourself a few hundred xp away from leveling up when the soft starts. You get your 5-6 wins, leveling up on the last one so your tickets replenish, and then you get your 5-6 more immediately. Then just grind away. If you get to 130ish based on natural ticket replenishment, then you can spend a couple of gems to get up to 150. Essentially trading regular gems for rare gems which you should obviously do.
Based on 2.5 hours per game, there are about 50 games left in this SOTF.
I’m at 117 wins now and am hoping to get to 150 without spending gems. Will depend on how hard it gets.
I did that,was 89 and about to go to 90 and in the event I reached 90 and ticket refilled
I lost only 3 times due to last biters
And now my qim is on the 2 gems at 120
Cuz I am aiming too high for my ranking and team I think I need to spend some $$ to start hitting high lvls
not even worth my time and effort since will get a crappy SE anyways
Or a dupe legendary
it has been ages since I even got a legendary from rare gems
Only managed to get one Leg from a rare egg,others all from normal eggs
They should make it a 50|50 chance
After all, you’re going to pick up SE.
Won’t mind a SE team turn,
The point in not how reach lvl 300,the point is it will get weariful.you must face each and every floor and can not skip.thinking about a suggestion from another player before this one started,make prize less and add more gap between them but let us skip some level,tower event and sotf are good but they cost a little too much.
Hope Devs think about it as they did for IC

I gave up after the poisoning problem I came across. I can’t pre determine what monsters will use revenge or not because of it.
It’s a shame as it’s hard enough for those without legendary or super decent monsters to get those special potions. I’m at the grand champion face off and still unable to get a potion. Can’t even fight those monsters that that villian comes up with in special events sometimes.
What is the poisoning problem?
i think he refers to revenges occurred by poison,such as no waking up the monsters in time(happen for me couple of times,my monster got poisoned but not awake and moved back because the system though he’s sleep) and i heard (hopefully not happened for myself) there is a very strange bug,when some monster died by poison,they passive will cause some trouble.hope it only be a glitch or maybe a mistake by players.

The poisoned and still asleep thing is no bug… the poison needs to actually do damage first, then you will awake, but if you get poisoned while asleep and then directly get the turn without enough time inbetween to actually do any kind of damage, then you cannot awake, because you have not been hurt yet. So the consequence is that your monster loses its turn, THEN the damage is applied and then it will awake, after it turn was already missed.
This is no bug, this is exactly how it should be.
But you are right, he is refering to poison supposedly triggering revenge effects as he reported in the bug report section, but I have never seen something like this happening, so I cannot say anything about that.

What about when posion deals 0 damage to a monster in hold ground. That must be a bug
I’ve noticed some monsters having 0 damage whilst being poisoned (usually its a small amount per monster turn). Bit odd to be able to be poisoned but it doesn’t do any damage.

I tried again today but even after 30 wins it gets ridiculously hard.
Poison damage is dealt over time and is - as far as I know - based on a certain percentage of the poisoned monsters Max HP.
So if the time increment is too short - for example 1 second - and the monsters max HP are under a certain treshhold, then the damage dealt is so low, that it gets rounded to 0.
I am not a hundred percent sure on this as I don’t know the poison damage formula, but I have noticed that the 0 poison damage happens very often to non evolved / low star / low HP mons. It practically never happens with “bigger” mons 5 - 6 stars, evolved.
For example, I have seen it happen very often with the non evolved 5 star protector + stun absorber SEs, but very rarely with their evolved form.
So again, I would not call this a bug, but rather just simple math.
Damage over time, that gets calculated by % of monster Max HP, in a too short time span with a too low Max HP mon can result in a 0 damage value. This could be solved, if a rule would be set, that damage would always be rounded up and never rounded down, then poison damage would always have to be at least 1, but then again I think it might be intentional, so it may stay that way forever.
I think the whole point of adding hold ground to the likes of rhynobrawl and puffoxin (who I was thinking of) was to nerf their death revenge. Then, either poison or their own reckless charge would be an easy counter. It’s just really annoying to poison them, expecting them to die next turn, only to have them survive by taking 0 damage and use death revenge on your strongest monster. I just think the minimum damage should be changed to 1 and not zero.
I stopped at 100, no way I can get 120 or 150. The game becomes too unfair at this point. One hit to my four is sad.
