I did a bit of math on this. I suggested that the rare legends would be as rare as the HI hatchlings(1 in 200 battles). After some testing, I found that I could only reliably finish about 4 battles per minute(numbers don’t seem to vary much island to island since it is fastest to escape). That means that, if there was only one legend per island, it would take 20 hours of pure grinding just to get all 6. And that is just the time spent battling and entering battles, that isn’t including time to test teams, regenerate health, reach the right spots, etc. That is a lot of time. And as for using the internet, I already clarified that spots for mainstay legends would be randomly chosen to specifically counter this(you can see that the post wasn’t edited).

As for the long grind tbh that reminds me of my idea ages ago that perhaps the First Ones final boss battles could have a chance to obtain them upon each completion with a very small chance. I think I also said to limit the attempts per day to 1 (per boss battle). I quite like the idea of if we get free, powerful monsters then make them actually very hard to get so you have to be devoted to get them and it’s a long-term goal. Ultimately it’s not the most fun or engaging content but it’s a good addition to the game overall.

Then everyone would be running bovolcus fl and deathmatch mode with slash all terrago, and a hint of anglomaiden in 5th slot.

Bosses are immune to HP tweaking skills like Deathmatch Mode, if they made the mission to get Legendaries boss battles it wouldn’t matter





This mobile phone game imitating Pokemon may satisfy most of your ideas, and basically all monsters are obtained by capturing, deciphering and incubating eggs. The most important thing is that the strongest monster is also obtained through decryption and is stronger than the paid monster. If the game gives us the chance to get the legendaries then I think that before the capturing we must first fight the legendary you meet and the monster must have around 10000hp or more with buffed stats and then after defeating the monster you have to hurt the monster you are trying to capture again and get it to low hp the chances of capturing the monster is 8% to 10% the system will almost be the same fight as the first ones like you fight it’s underling before fighting the boss but in this you have defeat the monster first to capture it.

But why though? All of the easy to obtain ones would be low tier, and the high tier ones would be harder to obtain. Plus, the point is to make legendaries accessible. That sounds like it would make them absurdly hard to get.

A similar idea was proposed a long time ago for the hatchlings. Great minds think alike I guess
