I find the protect focus mons weak and need a buff somewhere. I thought why not giving them a brand new passive. It would be a protection ( for the team on the field) against : death roulette, sudden death and the death sentence moves. I think they really something to make them more useful. Right now the protect teammate are just way better with stun absorb and hold ground.
My second point is I find aegisdragon too powerful in PvP. If I don’t have my shadowyrm up he is so hard to kill. because of him some combos become unfair. Does he needs a nerf ?
First thing protect focus use to block death revenge but that was removed second aegis is meant to be strong and hard to take down it does not need a nerf in anyway
I know he’s mean to be a wall but when he is up some combos become unfair. During the pvp each time I was against some stupid combo with him and lose to many mons just to kill him. Especially the frontline with aegis : bahamuzar, deo, oniblade.
nerfing aegis would make people who spent tons of money to get it (like me D:) veeery upset… also, im sure they made so much money from festival eggs with aegis as featured monster… it’s like a gold mine for them xD
I think they should buff the protect focus mons so we have more options for our team… right know stun absorbers are the only viable protectors and it gets boring… also they should introduce another legendary protector (not as OP as aegis though) so we can see different set ups without aegis maybe… we need more choices for our protectors… maybe they should buff/remake nebel to make him an actual useful protector…
xD I agree with you, a balanced gameplay should come first… I’m just saying why they will probably not nerf him…
also I think nerfing aegis is not the only way to do it… they can nerf him indirectly by buffing super epic protector, or introducing some strong counter… this way people will not be upset, aegis will still be strong but people will need to think more about using him or another protector… the real strenght of aegis is that it has no downsides… you can slam him in any team and he will be good, no matter what your strategy is
Nebelronix is another legendary protector. He just doesn’t have stun absorb. also if they didn’t nerf nebel/atrahasis combo then they definitely won’t nerf aegis. There’s a reason he was a special release legendary and only a few lucky or rich people have it
The thing about aegis is that he’s only as strong as the monsters behind him. He makes a lot of very good combos possible but he’s sort of a win more monster, if you don’t have anything to put behind him then he’s nowhere near as good.
Raging at aegis is more raging at people with teams full of legends and thought out strategies. I mean I’m not going to say aegis is bad, he’s probably one of the best pvp monsters in the game, but I will say that the majority of people who use him are just very good players anyway.
I’ll admit aegis gave spinoarex and shadowyrm usage a major boost. Just like I imagine most people will use mossgoliath instead of the other tanks with galvbane now amoung the top super epics
Apart from aegisdragon for who I just need to improve my team. For you it’s ok to leave a broken mon just because people paid for it ? Anyways you don’t randomly nerf something :huh:
Aegis is definitely not OP…he is very valuable(maybe the best) support monster for any team. I don’t have him (wish I did) but I beat a normal team with aegis 90% of the time. If I lose its often not because of aegis. If you’re team is not strong enough to take him down quick enough it may be your team is more weak than aegis is strong…
