Pretty sure it was. Gargol, and some other summoners I can’t remember, summoned Volcawolf as well.

What’s the spawn rate for Skullrex? I have been searching the forest for a couple of hours with no luck

So ive seen this small skeleton dragon somewhere in the first region. I want to say it was around the first three towns, but i cant say for sure anymore as i havent been able to locate them since yesterday. Im wondering if i saw the skullrex people have been talking about(i forgot its actual name) though ive only progressed to the desert area so far. Can anyone confirm/disprove what i saw?
It is indeed Skullrex. Fuse it with Plasmodius to get Plasmorex!
If you’ve only made it that far it wouldn’t be skullrex. Skullrex is either found in a cave west of Batek or on the northern tip of Crescent Island. What you are encountering is most likely Thickskull, who evolves into a 6 star monster, not Skullrex.
Well which one is it Buzz the cave or the tip of the crescent to find skullrex? I heard its not on the tip of the crescent but at the end if the forest heading north on the crescent, so where did u catch yours?

is the best place to find a Skullrex, in the cave it is harder to find a skullrex.
was just farming a skullrex and the same thing happened to me… but a gargoyle did use a summon move, soo… 
You can also tell it’s summoned by the fact that there’s no capture icon up on top.
