And yes, grouping the nerfs would give an even more biased result saying that 54% is in favour of a nerf, when the reality is that I like only 1 of the nerf ideas I proposed.
(Tbh as a Novem owner I don’t mind her staying as it is, was just not the best option for me).
I like Novemdomina as a strong support monster for link fire, making it work well as a strategy. I don’t think she’s the problem, it was link fire as a whole that had too many pushed monsters that were link fire payoffs. They’ve been nerfing these payoffs, which was a good call to make it still function nicely as a strategy but not be too powerful.
Totally i agree with that ,duck. For another side, Novedomina is good as she is now, i don’t use fire link, i detest but that is my opinion.
Sorry, my english is bad when i don’t use google traslator.
idk what they can do but they can increase posedion give turn. decrease myst atks, increase myst sneak atk tu
Even introduce more monsters that counter Ap
there should be a way to nerf myst other than raw
Guys I am bringing the post up to allow more players to see it and vote.
We have 53 voters, I’d like to have some more data before to close the poll, surely the vote is pretty reliable since those 53 voters are all players involved on improving the game experience.
It really is no trend. Also no need for the passive aggressive “like groupies” wording.
To be clear hear: In empirical political science (which I studied) there is a bias called “selection by outcome” which basically means that the person who designs the poll or survey prefers a certain outcome or wants the outcome to confirm the design of his study or his theory
If you have a poll with 4 options it is likely that people will spread their vote across all 4 options. If you have 3 options suggesting a nerf and one not suggesting a nerf it is also very likely that the “nerf options” will win. It’s simple psychology. You can influence the outcome by poll design. I don’t say you did it on purpose it’s how our own bias pushes us in certain directions.
Basically the solution is what interference suggested. Make it a simply yes/no poll, don’t give your opinion in the Comments.
If the Pro Nerfs vote would win then you could make a second poll or you include a second poll but only for those voted yes.
Novem was never the main problem, it was the good, fast, low tu, double sweep monsters. Now that Magmarinus is basically unusable, Flare and Magmagund slowed a lot, link fire is no longer the most agressive strategy (Camo strats have thier role in that too).
See, Don, that’s why I usually don’t explain stuff because I don’t have the feeling you’d take the time to read and understand.
What I said was: your poll design favors a certain outcome. With a simple yes vs no poll you would get a totally different result because the bias of the current poll wouldn’t influence people in their decisions
and again, F2P who owns a single digit of awoken myths wouldn’t be happy with their monster that they spent so much time and effort awakening to be destroyed and pushed out of play. I suppose it’s easier when you own 60 of them and 1 benched for no reason won’t be a big deal.
