Infact I am happy with the answer, I don’t have nothing more to discuss with them.

Overall this is pretty ridiculous. Paying for gems is already stupidly expensive for a phone game that has no resale value, hence it can’t be looked at as an investment in my eyes.
Still, I feel they are shooting themselves in the foot as it will only further cement the usage and abusing of the Shrine and not push players to pay for gems anymore. It’s nonsense and will lead to the games demise unfortunately.
As a side note, since the price of gems are increasing can we get more monster designs and stop the slutty Waifus from being made anymore? If we are going to pay more, we should at least get a benefit.
I had this sad feeling also, is the first thing I said to the guys in DMG.
Not sure if anyone watched the YT video I shared, but the real downfall of games was clear when they said “don’t make your game too skill based”
The world economy is changing a lot right now. There is a lot of inflation and the countries are being affected, and they have had to make changes like these. All very sad. I hope everything returns to normal.
I hope no
Good for me, 3vs1 @PurpleHeart @NMEGaryOak ?
NO
He doesn’t understand what you’re talking about @Richito
Yes I am not a Econ professor like you shut the fck up bruh ahahahah
For me it’s always been $80 for 150 gems and that hasn’t changed since launch. Sucks to suck?
Didn’t have to take any Econ classes in University I see
This apply on all gems / offer purchase ?
Not only apps price ?
Alright,
In defense of Gary, despite the usual trolling (come on, Gary), he was right from the start. Let’s assume this: You have the following currencies Dollar (DO), Euro (EUR), Japanese Yen (JPY) and British Pound (GBP). The worth of these currencies isn’t arbitrarily, they all stand in relation to each other. In terms of purchasing power:
The Euro was usually a bit stronger than the Yen and the Dollar. While GBP was the strongest of all of them. Due to the recent economic developments, the euro is as weak as never before. Usually for 1 Euro you`d get 1,2 Dollar. Now you will get roughly around 0,98 Dollar. The Yen also dropped in worth, while the Dollar performs really strong. This also affects the GBP. 1 Year ago you would get 1,4 Dollar for 1 GBP. No you only get 1,1.
What does this mean? Let’s assume the company generates the gem prices by taking the dollar price as orientation. 1 Year ago this would have been the scheme.
1 Dollar = 1 Gem
0,85 Euro = 1 Gem
0,7 Pound = 1 GEM
1 Gem = 110 Yen
Now in comparison to the Dollar all of the currencies have lost value. This means you need more of the same currencies to generate the same Value. For Example the Euro is now worth less than the dollar but the Gem price was still a representation of the an old relation between the two currencies. So the new prices need to be representative of the current value of the currencies. Now the scheme Looks like this:
1 Dollar = 1 Gem
1,02 Euro = 1 Gem
0,9 Pound = 1 Gem
140 Yen = 1 Gem
So its also the pound who lost value and despite the original message from the Neo twitter account wasnt correct, the reason behind the new pricing isn’t android or apple, its inflation + a very strong dollar.
If you dont take it from Gary, take it from someone with an Econ degree
I like how you switched these
The irony here is I wasn’t trolling for once but DonTs inability to listen to anyone other than himself caused this thread to descend into chaos
Wouldn’t expect less
I am aware about the pound having dropped against dollar and so, but the topic was regarding another thing.
If the NM Tweet would say: “because of new money currency conversion some prices have been reviewed”, then hands up, I cannot say much, GBP lost compare to the past and that’s it.
Tweet says: “Because of App Store pricing tier increase SOME players might experience change of prices”, all affected parties are APP STORE users, euro currency and a specific list of countries (UK is not there).
Now Gary was insisting that Because of APP Store tier pricing increasal, Android would follow that.
But BRD gave a totally different explanation, they increased the price to match what APP Store price UK was (looks like APP and iOS UK prices were different all along), and APP Store prices UK are not been conditioned by the tier pricing.
Now, for how much you like up back up Gary, and for how much your explanation is right.
The reason why NM prices has changed, is a general review of prices.
Which was arbitrary, they were not forced to increase GBP iOS price, just looked right for the company (probably for the reason you said, they noticed we were paying less and reviewed).
So I wish Gary can stop acting like a smartazz each time I write something (Loss cause, because he loves acting like a m0roon).
BRD give me a satisfactory answer, had nothing to do with what Gary said. Peace out.
.
Yes infact what he said is totally true.
