Some of the story missions are hard
make sure you try to do anything which doesn’t cost gems or tickets. eg biweekly missions or super challenge battle. they are difficult but it will teach you about the game more and give you rewards.

even if you miss the shrine this time around it will be back next month or so.

Like the others pretty much summarised: keep playing and even by logging in coupled with a little effort you will gain 100 gems in a month. The shrine that comes every 3 weeks can give you over 50 gems at a time. Just keep playing and you’ll reach 500 in no time! It will be well worth it.

One day ago you had 95 gems and now you have only 49?
Be sure to save for shrine, you don’t need any other monster than the guaranteed monsters to reach 500 gems, it’ll take less than 2 month.
I took 46 days to reach 500 gems that time on my 2nd account without spending even one gem.
Well i did get this on that day
