agreed, maybe also players could receive Ores of Vitality when completing certain story milestones, both online and offline, so that newcomers would eventually be able to HP boost their monsters naturally by playing the game’s story (which takes quite a while).
Btw HP boost is fine, especially since it’s now more advantageous for lower-rarity monsters, making them catch up with powercreep, even if a little bit. But still, I wish there was a choice to also boost ATK. Some monsters have interesting movesets that are held back by their inability to land killing blows
this is the main problem with seeing variety in the endgame of Neomonsters.
This is what I was thinking. Maybe there could be five achievements with 20 ores each as a reward. Or if old players are not supposed to get those ores, place them in a login bonus visible only for newcomers.
Brilliant idea. Can same number of ores increases atk by certain amount and player can only have one choice either they want to boost atk or hp.
We should also take into consideration that hp boost on a mythic that has full defensive stats is not just 500hp its alot more.

Lets put it in a example
Lets say a monster that does not have piercing attacks a boosted monster something like our good pal vixenblade
Vixenblade gains defense boost and now hp boost, on average it would take bloodcrave two times to bring vixenblade to hg with the hp boost it could take up to 4 times because of the synergy
Samething goes for carmilla, shikabloom etc
Even full defense stats like momo batstia gain soo much from the boost because it synergies with their huge defense
i may be wrong here, but IIRC the damage calculation formula involves some fuckery that makes the actual numeric value of DEF almost ininfluential (except for the DEF cap value). So the rarity of the attacked monster could be not that important actually
Though not even KD managed to provide a 100% seal of approval damage formula, so there’s nothing known for sure
And are we going to forget how much plume token, sora gain soo much benefit from the hp boost am pretty sure more then 500 hp
lmfao. there is no problem with HP boost, the SE are weak, the hp boost has no importance for them, once transformed dreadmoth even boosted this does one shot by seaguard, even a union attack too, Maple at been nerfed, even Akhekhion who with a vigorous defense and 5.3k cannot resist not for critical attacks, for additional mythics 500hp does nothing, except in the case of Carmilla, Charybdia and vixenblade. This can be problematic for some legendaries and as these are accessible to everyone there is therefore no problem ![]()

What he told makes sense. 500 is same for all but 500 for defence boost mons and for normal moster is not same. It’s same like giving 1,1 glass of water to crow and cow each. Though it’s same amount but it’s more than enough for crow and very little for cow.

The main body gains 500 stats but the token gains 2000 thats 4500 hp boosted distributed across three bodies from what suppose to be a 500 boost.
Sora is the same,
Defense boosted monsters like carmilla, vixen, shikabloom they gain alot more
Nah your wrong the babies of a mythic is still counted as mythics they get 500 so its 1500 not 4500
