I just started playing about 3 weeks ago. Are all monsters below 4 stars somewhere on the islands? Like leobolt…where is it located? And how do you people on the Ubc have all those legendary and SE? I love this game so I’m just trying to figure it all out. Any info is greatly appreciated
Yes, all monsters with 3 or fewer stars can be found on the islands, but most of them aren’t really worth bothering with later on. You can check the beginner’s guide posted by hidan1337 for the monsters that are worth getting. Most event exclusive SEs are attained in certain events, and three epic monsters(Dunkleosus, Seahowl and Blurstrike) can be found in the cursed island dungeons. Other than that, all epics SEs and legends are only attainable in the egg nest. A lot of people just put a lot of money into the game to roll lots of eggs, particularly when the event exclusive legendaries show up.
Leobolt is only recieved at the beginning. Almost all three star or lower monsters can be found on the islands. There’s three four stars on the last island in temples. There’s also a section online which gives away a selection of four star monsters including all starters.
The only legendary you can get on your own is through an online hunt. It’s a lengthy process but Chronos is a good additional to any team.
Most events will offer super epic and epic monsters as prizes. For instance the current DC (Dungeon Challenge) will give you a super epic thrower/bloodcraver if you reach the fortieth floor.
The only other way is by hatching eggs with gems. Five gems will let you hatch one egg. From eggs you have a small percentage to get lengedaries, a slightly higher one to get super epics, and guaranteed epic or above.
Another tip: don’t spend gems on normal eggs or special eggs. Only spend gems on festival eggs because that’s when legendary drop rate is highest. Also it is better to save 50 gems than spending 5 gems. You get a rare gold egg piece out of it. It only takes 5 of those then you get a 40% chance at a legendary.
If u are reeeeeeally patient u can get a guaranteed legendary in Festivals (that follow USA holidays) hatching 3 10in1 packs (150 gems total)

4th of July probably, games anniversary (in October), Christmas, Zards birthday, etc. Holidays celebrated in the US.
