How can I seek for rares in the islands? I only can take legendaries by hatching eggs!? Why hunter island the same as neomonsters!?

The only monsters with 4 or more stars available on the islands are the cursed island dungeon epics, Sunlord, Lunalord and Noxdragon, the rest are only obtainable from the egg nest. To find 2 star monsters simply explore the islands until you get a pop up in the upper right corner telling you there’s a rare monster nearby, then wander around the area until that monster appears. The cursed island is different because you can find 2 star monsters normally and you can find 3 star monsters with the rare monster pop ups. Hope this helps.
