Yh as the title says, how do I farm gems besides the story?
Step 1- Purchase a farm
Step 2- Purchase gem seeds
Step 3- plant the seeds make sure to give them plenty of water as they dehydrate very quickly
Step 4- give them good shade you dont want the sun to hit them directly as this can cause damage to the leafs and die out.
Step5- When the harvesting season comes makes sure to spray the fruits with anti bugs to make sure that bugs dont ruin the fruit.

What you need to do is compete/participate in as many events as possible. You need to go to the “online” section and complete everything you possibly can.
Participating in PvP is a great way to get gems as well.
Be sure to visit the “achievements” section to receive a whole heap of gems as you complete the various achievements.

Agree with Saitama. PvP is my preferred method 
super challenge battles are nice and quick as well
Dude there has been many threads about this before you could try searching a thread about the subjects you want to do a new thread about before actually making a new thread.
@Killerdog please make a tier list for farming.
I know that Nova and Nox are S-Tier in farming for sure
Polareon is S Tier for catching monsters too but idk if that’s considered “farming,” you should just make a tier list for catching monsters too just to be safe
